Another week, another Toastmasters meeting.

We had two lovely speeches this week provided by Thomas and Lavinia.
Like in every meeting we value a lot the feedback part so this week we took advantage of the two guests we had: Adriana our club coach and Violeta our Area Director and asked them to be evaluators. The rest is in the images.

Starting with this week, we are going to have a special series going on here. Let's call it: "Friday Food for Thought". Each Friday we will share with you something inspirational, something to think about to give your weekend a good start. This Friday we want to share a TED Talk "Leader is Made By First Follower ". Have you ever thought about the planet climate, the financial markets, or the complex human body homeostasis as feedback loops? In his speech “Feedback Loops” Bogdan presented us with some interesting connections. He said:
“Once we notice the feedback loops in our everyday life, we can leverage them to our advantage. We can see that feedback is not just what we receive at Toastmasters, but an omnipresent and essential part of our existence, and how we respond to it determines how adaptable and successful we are.”

Lavinia, our Table Topic Master prepared some challenging subjects for the impromptu speeches section. The theme she chose was "Recipes for Happiness". We all have different ones, right?
