The call for the student applications for the MSc EF was closed on 21 Jan 2026. Our programme attracted a total of 367 applications. Applicants represent 55 nationalities. All applicants will be informed about the selection results in April by latest. MSc European Forestry Graduation Ceremony and Alumni event 2025 took place at the Transilvanian University of Brasov in Romania, 25-26 September. Altogether 19 graduates were announced in the ceremony. Warm congratulations to all our graduates and special thanks to Prof. Lucian Curtu, Dr. Darius-George Hardalau and the technical staff of UNITBV for organising such a wonderful event to all of us.

Today the excursions of the MSc EF students continued to Lusto Finnish Forest Museum in Punkaharju 🙂

We were happy to welcome the new MSc EF 2025 students to the programme this week. The course with an excursion to Koli national park and Ruunaa hiking area.

Joensuun Uutiset (Joensuu news) recently published an article about Muna Chaudhary who studied in the MSc European Forestry -programme. Muna is originally from Nepal and he did his second academic year at the University of Freiburg. A few new compiled photos from the MSc EF graduation/alumni event from Nancy 26-27 September.

The graduation and alumni event of the MSc EF graduates 2023-2024 took place at AgroParisTech, France 26.-27.9.2024. The programme included a sightseeing tour in Nancy and a graduation ceremony followed by an excursion to AgroParisTech Brin Forest on the following day. Altogether 25 graduates from 19 different nationalities were acknowledged in this event. Ms. Sofia Viskadourou from Greece and Ms. Camilla Rocha Rodrigues Cordeiro from Brazil gave a speech on behalf of the graduates of the year 2024. Our warm congratulations to all our graduates and many thanks to the organising team at AgroParisTech.

The new MSc EF students have started their studies. We had a lovely day in Ruunaa hiking area.

The MSc European Forestry alumni dinner took place in conjunction with IUFRO World Congress in Stockholm. It was so amazing to meet you all again 🙂
