Erasmus ALBA IULIA, Romania

University of Alba Iulia is taking another step towards opening new horizons in the internationalization of higher education in Alba Iulia. Recently, UAB started an important cooperation with the University of Minnesota, Duluth, one of the most prestigious public research universities in the United States. University of Minnesota, Duluth is part of the University of Minnesota system and has a huge research experience. The cooperation agreement focuses on the exchange of teachers and students, joint activities, organization of conferences and the exchange of publications.

The Center for International Relations of "1 December 1918" University of Alba Iulia has signed a new cooperation agreement with Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, one of the oldest universities in the world. Jagiellonian University was founded in 1364 by the Polish king Casimir the Great and is one of the most innovative universities in Europe. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies, 94 study programs and 158 specializations with a total number of approximately 40,000 students. The cooperation agreement that our university recently established with Jagiellonian University offers the possibility to teachers and students of Philology, to implement teaching mobility, respectively transnational study mobility financed by the Erasmus + programme.

Rectorul Universitatii "1 Decembrie 1918" din Alba Iulia, prof.univ.dr. Valer Daniel Breaz, se află într-o mobilitate Erasmus+ în Uzbekistan. Domnia Sa a avut întâlniri cu reprezentanții State World Language University, cât și cu reprezentanții Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute. Cu ambele Universitati, Rectorul UAB a incheiat acorduri de cooperare in domeniul cercetarii si invatamantului superior.

În perioada 13.01.2020 – 22.01.2020, trei studenți din cadrul Facultății de Științe Economice, specializarea Marketing, au reprezentat cu mândrie Universitatea “1 Decembrie 1918” din Alba Iulia în cadrul școlii de iarnă “The Spectacular Taiwan Culture Winter Camp, 2020” organizată de către universitatea National Taichung University of Education, Taichung, Taiwan. La eveniment au participat peste 50 de studenți din 7 țări: Cehia, Coreea, Filipine, Franța, Rusia, România și Taiwan.
Cu această ocazie, studenții albaiulieni Mureșan Cosmina, Răzăilă Cătălin și Rusan Claudiu au avut ocazia de a cunoaște și a se familiariza cu cultura taiwaneză și chineză prin participarea la cursuri de introducere în limba chineză, în cultura și bucătăria aboriginală (Taro Pastry), caligrafie, Chinese Tai Ji și vizitarea unor obiective turistice importante din nordul Taiwanului (orașele Taichung, Miaoli și Taipei): Taiwan Folk Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Shanlinxi Forest Recreation Area, The Old Mountain Line Railbike din Miaoli, National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Taipei, 2/28 Peace Park Taipei, Taipei 101 - Skyscraper Taipei (cea mai înaltă clădire din lume în perioada 2004 – 2010), Rainbow Village, Yizhong Street Night Market.

Hello everybody!!

I'm really happy to have the opportunity to start this Spanish course and have you all as students. I will tell you a bit about myself.

My name is Elsa, I am 20 years old and I am from Spain (a city called Zaragoza, in the north of Spain, next to France) and I am here until June-July because of the Erasmus programme.

I love teaching and having initiatives and I thought that giving Spanish classes for free as a volunteer work was a great idea. It can give you another perspective of life and as you may know... Learn does not consist of memorize... It consist of having talks, share experiences and enjoy the moment!!

So welcome to this course and hope you all enjoy the classes. We will try to do in a funny way ;)

Any doubt you have, you can ask it there, but I will share every information you must know in order to attend classes or to receive material and so on.
