The LANSEN partnership recently came together for another highly productive meeting as we move into the final phase of the project. We are delighted to share that most of our project results and educational resources are now nearing completion.
Over the past months, our international team has worked intensively to develop innovative tools, methodologies, and learning materials aimed at promoting multisensory and inclusive language learning across Europe. Very soon, all these valuable resources will be freely available for teachers, trainers, educators, and organizations interested in transforming language education.
Stay tuned for the official release of our project outputs and discover how the LANSEN approach combines sensory learning, cultural heritage, and digital innovation to create meaningful language-learning experiences.

Last week, Ana Varela had the opportunity to take part in a KA220 project monitoring meetingโan enriching space to share progress, challenges, and good practices by the Spanish National Agency, SEPIE.
These sessions not only help assess how projects are advancing, but also strengthen collaboration among partners, spark new ideas, and ensure we continue moving toward meaningful and sustainable impact.
We left with valuable insights, fresh perspectives, and, above all, renewed motivation to keep working on initiatives that foster innovation and international cooperation.

Within the framework of the webinar "International Projects, Collaboration, and Professional Development"โheld for students of the Masterโs degrees in Teaching at the University of Lisbon, including future teachers from the Master in Informatics Teachingโthe tremendous impact of Erasmus+ projects in transforming modern classrooms was put in the spotlight.
Rui Baltazar took the stage as one of the main speakers to deliver an insightful presentation on the Erasmus+ project, showcasing how participating in European initiatives can revolutionize pedagogical practices and strengthen teachers' professional identity.
These two presentations successfully took place on May 15th and May 26th, 2026. The conferences served as a prime space for sharing and critical reflection, demonstrating concrete examples of meaningfully integrating digital technologies into teaching, promoting cross-border mobility, and building essential global skills for today's schools.
A Distinguished Panel
The event also featured a highly valuable contribution from our colleague Rute Batista, Senior Professional Development Manager for the Support Services of the European School Education Platform and eTwinning, who was present to share her expert insights and extensive experience in teacher professional development on a European scale.

One of the highlights of our Erasmus+ meetings was the work carried out on the brochure project. During our mobility in Spain, the task was first presented to the students through the excellent brochure created by the Spanish team, which truly inspired everyone. Once back home, our students continued the project with great enthusiasm and commitment. It was also a great opportunity for them to put into practice what they had learnt throughout the project and to reuse some of the digital applications and tools they had already worked with during previous activities. They exchanged ideas, organized the content together, and gradually created their own brochure in a very positive and collaborative atmosphere. Beyond the final result, this activity strengthened their creativity and teamwork while creating meaningful memories linked to this Erasmus+ experience.

the Spanish center organized a dissemination session about our LANSEN project with students from the schools who will be studying with us next year.
We used a methodology known as Learning Stations, which offers great benefits for students. Itโs very simple: we divided the students into groups of 4 or 5, and then explained that each station included instructions for an activity. The students themselves read the tasks and began working on them independently. After some minutes, they heard an alarm and changed the station.
There were a total of three learning stations: one focused on speaking about food (taste), another on vocabulary through sounds (hearing), and finally a cultural station explored through visual elements (sight).
Both students and teachers enjoyed the experience of sharing our LANSEN project. Many thanks to Fran Marin for directing the activity, the educational guidance department (Ana Rosal, Mยช Eugenia Turpรญn and Marta Gonzรกlvez) for creating such a nice cultural activity, and Ana Varela (Erasmus + coordinator)
LANSEN keeps moving forward.

The LANSEN Erasmus + projects keeps working. Students and teachers are testing the created activities and they look like they are enjoying a lot.
On this occasion the Spanish students tried the "Soaper Hero" activity created by the French team. Students could learn different vocabulary about the sense of smell. After that, we followed the process of making soap. It was such a great morning!

Our language teachers were also excited to try more activities.
Now, it was the turn for a great sensory activity focused on the sense of smell. The French team prepared a great activity where India was the connection between literature and the sense of smell. This fusion was splendid and students enjoyed a lot.
Thanks French team!

The final day of the ERASMUS+ Lansen โ Learning Languages with Sense meeting in Spain brought together reflection, creativity, and heartfelt goodbyes after an intense and inspiring week.
Students continued their work in international groups, conducting interviews with each other to reflect on their experiences during the week, sharing their thoughts, memories, and the most meaningful moments of the mobility.
In another creative activity, some groups took part in a dubbing workshop, where they voiced short scenes from series and films in English and Spanish, exploring languages in a fun and interactive way.
Students from Poland also presented the application guides developed within the LANSEN project, showcasing digital resources created to support language learning through the senses.
The day ended with a special Goodbye Event, where the Spanish team expressed their gratitude and warmly said farewell to all students and teachers who participated in this final meeting.
A week full of collaboration, cultural exchange, creativity, and friendship comes to an end โ but the memories and the impact of the LANSEN project will continue far beyond this meeting.

The fourth day of the final meeting of the ERASMUS+ Lansen - Learning languages with sense project brought together literature, creativity, and environmental awareness.
The day began with a presentation by students from Murcia, who summarized the different chapters of the famous book The Little Prince. This introduction helped set the context for the activities that followed.
Participants then shared a special moment by reading a short excerpt from the book in all the different languages represented in the room โ highlighting the beauty of linguistic diversity and the European spirit of the project.
Students then worked in international groups on creative illustration activities inspired by The Little Prince. Through drawings and visual interpretations, they recreated meaningful phrases from the book while emphasizing the importance of the human senses, a central theme of the LANSEN project.
The day concluded with international groups presenting slide presentations about the natural importance of the Mar Menor, reflecting on its environmental value and the need to protect this unique ecosystem.
Another inspiring day that combined culture, creativity, languages, and environmental awareness โ perfectly reflecting the spirit of Erasmus+.
