The Vacation Quiz Training Program 2026, organized by the Quiz Club of DPS Modern Indian School, was successfully conducted for students of Grades 6 to 12 under the guidance of the Quiz Club teachers and Directors.

The programme aimed to broaden students’ general knowledge and strengthen their quizzing skills through interactive discussions and online quizzes. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including Current Affairs, Science and Technology, Artificial Intelligence, History and Geopolitics, Literature and Mythology, Space Science, Sports, Geography, Business and Economics, Life Sciences and Medicine, Flora and Fauna, Language and Wordplay, Pop Culture, International Flags, Qatar Knowledge, and several other areas.

Conducted through interactive digital platforms, the sessions encouraged quick thinking, critical reasoning, curiosity, confidence, and a healthy competitive spirit. The programme was a valuable and enriching learning experience, helping students stay informed and develop a lasting interest in quizzing and learning.

DPS Convergence 2026 | CPD HOD Session | EVS and Science Departmental meeting

A CPD session on “The Science of Questioning” and “The Power of Analogies” was conducted by Ms. A. Sharmila for EVS and Science teachers of Grades III–V on 24 & 25 August 2026 as part of DPS Convergence 2026.

The session focused on using powerful questioning techniques and everyday analogies to make scientific concepts more engaging, relatable and meaningful. Teachers explored strategies to develop curiosity, critical thinking, reasoning and scientific inquiry among learners.

The session was an enriching professional learning experience, equipping teachers with practical strategies to create interactive, experiential and learner-centred classrooms.
