Our KG2 students enthusiastically participated in a fun Jellyfish Number Craft activity. Each child created a colourful jellyfish by pasting ten paper strips as tentacles and writing the numbers 1 to 10 on the body of the jellyfish. The children carefully counted, pasted, and wrote the numbers in sequence with great excitement. This engaging activity helped develop fine motor skills, number recognition, counting skills, and hand-eye coordination. It was delightful to see the children proudly display their creative jellyfish crafts.

Our KG 1 students had an exciting and educational Traffic Signal Activity where they learned the importance of road safety and traffic rules through hands-on play. The children became little drivers using handmade vehicle props and a road track while observing the traffic lights. They practiced stopping at the red light, slowing down at the yellow light, and moving forward on the green light. This fun-filled activity helped develop listening skills, concentration, turn-taking, and awareness of basic traffic rules, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

Our KG 1 children enjoyed a fun and creative Kite Craft Activity by making colourful kites using simple paper shapes. They identified the square and triangle shapes, pasted them together, and decorated their kites with happy faces. The KG1 and KG2 teachers delighted the children with an engaging enactment of the classic story The Monkey and the Cap Seller. Through colourful costumes, creative props, and expressive acting, the teachers brought the story to life as the mischievous monkeys copied the cap seller’s actions and took his caps. The children watched with excitement, laughter, and enthusiasm, while learning valuable lessons about observation, problem-solving, and presence of mind. The activity made storytelling interactive, enjoyable, and memorable, enhancing the students’ listening and comprehension skills.

Our KG 1 students participated in a fun and engaging Ball transferring activity* where they used a spoon to pick up colourful balls from a bowl of water and carefully placed them into compartments of a tray. This activity helped develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and balance. The children practiced controlling their hand movements while transferring the balls without dropping them, which strengthened their finger muscles and improved their focus. The colourful materials and water play made the learning experience enjoyable, encouraging active participation and confidence in completing the task independently.

Our KG2 students enjoyed making an adorable Paper Plate Bunny. Each child decorated a paper plate with ears, eyes, nose, and whiskers to create a bunny face. The activity sparked creativity as students stuck, drew, and pasted with enthusiasm. It helped develop fine motor skills, colour recognition, and hand-eye coordination. It was heartwarming to see their happy faces.

Our KG1 children actively participated in the Pencil and Paper Cup Activity with great excitement. In this activity, they used two pencils to pick and balance a paper cup and carefully place it into another cup, repeating the process from one cup to the next. The activity helped improve their hand-eye coordination, concentration, balance, and fine motor skills. It was a fun and engaging learning experience that encouraged patience, careful movement, and active participation among the children.

The teachers demonstrated the steps and guided the children as they pasted and decorated with excitement. Each child proudly held up their bright, colorful watermelon craft with big smiles. The activity filled the classroom with creativity, laughter, and a splash of summer vibes. It was a sweet way to explore colors, shapes, and fine motor skills.

On Friday, May 15, 2026, Greenwood International School and Kindergarten hosted a memorable family day celebration for our wonderful kindergarten parents.
The evening was packed with excitement, featuring a wide variety of both group and individual games thoughtfully planned for parents and their children. Watching everyone play together beautifully highlighted the deep connection and bond shared between the families. Parents participated enthusiastically in every single activity, bringing incredible energy to the event.
To top it all off, a lively food stall offered a fantastic variety of delicious foods for everyone to enjoy. It was truly another wonderful day to cherish for years to come.
