Congratulations to our winning teams! A huge well done to all competing teams from and the rest of the world for their efforts during these very tough few days of competition, too. The standard has been truly excellent and a real pleasure to witness. Thank you to all the teachers, educators and mentors for their support Thank you to Maersk Oil Qatar for their backing, and College of the North Atlantic-Qatar for hosting the event. And thank you also to our partners at the Supreme Education Council and Qatar Petroleum, who have helped make the World Robot Olympiad 2015 in Qatar a huge success. We look forward to seeing even more world-class robotics skills and technological innovation next year at the World Robot Olympiad 2016!

It's the final day of . We're going to be with you all day sharing our updates. Today promises to be a day of strong competition, with the winning teams announced at the closing ceremony 12:30am local time. The team work, inventive thinking and creative solutions applied by all teams has been hugely impressive. Very best of luck to all teams from around the world taking part during this final day of the tournament!

اليوم الأخير من سنكون معكم طيلة اليوم لننقل لكم الأجواء الختامية لهذا المحفل العلميّ. نتوقع يوماً مليئاً بالمنافسات القوية سيتم الإعلان في نهايته عن أسماء الفائزين خلال الحفل الختامي الساعة 12:30 بالتوقيت المحلي لدولة قطر. لقد كان العمل الجماعي والتفكير الإبداعي والحلول المبتكرة عنواناً لجميع المشاركين منذ اليوم الأول. بالتوفيق لجميع الفرق المشاركة من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

We're having a great day at Al Shaqab for the World Robot Olympiad 2015. All our teams from around the world have been taking to this year's theme - "Robot Explorers" - with lots of enthusiasm. This involves challenging students to use robots to help explore for natural resources in potentially hazardous environments. The challenges this year also reflect local cultural influences from , such as the "Pearl Diving", Treasure Hunt" and "Mountaineering" challenges. Follow us all weekend using the hashtag for more updates from the World Robot Olympiad 2015 - live from Qatar.

Only 24 hours to go until the World Robot Olympiad 2015 officially opens at the Al Shaqab Indoor Arena. On behalf of Maersk Oil Qatar, the College of the North Atlantic-Qatar, the Supreme Education Council of Qatar and Qatar Petroleum, we would like to welcome all teams travelling to and wish them an enjoyable stay. We officially announced on October 10 that the World Robot Olympiad 2015 would be held in for the first time. The day is almost here - tomorrow the WRO will start, thanks to the partnership between Maersk Oil Qatar and the College of the North Atlantic-Qatar, the Supreme Education Council of Qatar and Qatar Petroleum. As a high point of our programme, hosting this unique and prestigious competition is helping to continue boosting Qatar's potential through inspiring enthusiasm among students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, both in Qatar and around the world.


أعلنا رسمياً في 10 أكتوبر ٢٠١٣ عن استضافة دولة قطر لأولمبياد الروبوت العالمي تحت رعاية ميرسك قطر للبترول وكلية شمال الأطلنطي في قطر بالتعاون مع المجلس الأعلى للتعليم وقطر للبترول. وتمثل استضافتنا لهذا الحدث المرموق خير تتويج لبرنامج جو روبوت وتسهم في تحقيق رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030 من خلال حماس الطلاب وزيادة اهتمامهم بدراسة مواد العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات.
