Al-Jazeera's Director of Investigative Journalism Clayton Swisher's powerful closing remarks from last night's opening ceremony panel still resonating loudly today as we continue with day two of the 2018 MESSA Conference. Special nod to Folly Boh Thibault, Clayton Swisher, and Jamal ElShayyal - among Al Jazeera English's most acclaimed journalists - for their incredible insight into the realities of Al-Jazeera's role in a transforming Middle East.

MESSA will be holding its opening ceremony this Wednesday, March 14th at 6:00 PM in the Georgetown University Auditorium! The panel, which features three of AlJazeera's most prominent journalists, will discuss the topic of AlJazeera's role in the transforming Middle East. The event is open to the public and will be followed by a reception. See you there!
