Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prescribed that we make supplication before relations with our spouses, and Allah described his righteous worshippers as those who say, "... Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring, comfort to our eyes …" (25:74).
This was also the way of the Prophets, as Prophet Zachariah called upon Allah saying, “My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication." (3:38). So we should make dua for our children with a certainty that it will be answered, but know that Allah does not answer the supplications of a negligent playful heart; he answers the supplications of the righteous.

We keep looking for peace of mind in our wealth, in materialistic things and in the mirage of this world, when all we need to find peace is to remember the Creator - the source of all peace.

Abu Dharr scornfully called Bilal a “son of a black woman”. The Prophet (peace be upon him) opposed feelings of superiority in social status which drive individuals to abuse and scorn others. He reprimanded him saying, “Verily you are not better than a brown man, nor a black man, except by having more Taqwaa (fear of Allaah) than them.” (collected by Ahmad)

“Verily, We have sent to every nation a messenger (saying), ‘Worship Allah and avoid false gods.'" (An Nahl (16):36). The worship of One God was the essence of the message brought by all the Prophets, including Allah's final messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them all).
