Recently during library time, our young learner was so excited to check out a book — but it wasn’t available that day. Instead of becoming upset, he paused, stayed calm, and worked through his disappointment. That’s emotional regulation in action!

With support and practice, challenges like this become powerful milestones in building resilience, patience, and confidence.
