The Swiss International School, in Qatar (SISQ) opened in Doha in January 2017. The school provides an international education for international and Qatari families living in Doha through delivering the International Baccalaureate curricula. SISQ offers a high quality education in an inspiring and supportive environment. Our teachers are highly experienced and talented with international expertise

in delivering the IB curriculum in engaging and innovative ways. We are committed to providing an educational environment that excites, inspires and challenges every student to excel academically and socially. Whilst most lessons will be delivered in English, as a Swiss International School we incorporate elements of Swiss culture and the French language as part of the overall curriculum. We are delighted to share our students’ journey of progress and development in learning Arabic throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, as reflected in the results of the Arabic Benchmark Test (ABT) for both native and non-native Arabic speakers.

These results demonstrate the growth our students achieved across various Arabic language skills from the first round of assessment in September to the second round in May.

We are proud of our students’ progress and would like to extend our sincere thanks to our parents and Arabic language teachers for their continued support and dedication.

We were honored to welcome Mr Omar Abdulaziz Al-Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, to SISQ during the first week of the new academic year.

The visit provided an opportunity to meet our students and staff, explore the school, and see how smoothly our students are settling into their new routines. We sincerely appreciate the Minister’s support and commitment to ensuring a positive and successful start to the school year for every student.

It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to meet our teachers, explore classrooms, discover school activities and prepare for an exciting year ahead.

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Grade 10 students in the 2026 IB MYP Personal Project!

Every student successfully passed, achieving a 100% pass rate. Our students earned an impressive average grade of 4.97, almost a full grade above the world average of 3.99. An excellent 71% achieved Grade 5 or above, while 34% earned a Grade 6 or 7.

These results reflect the creativity, independence, perseverance and hard work demonstrated by our students throughout their Personal Project journey. Congratulations to all our students, and thank you to the teachers and supervisors who supported them along the way!

Outstanding IBDP Results for the Class of 2026!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our IB Diploma Programme students.

This year, 39 students completed the IBDP, achieving an outstanding average score of 34 points, well above the worldwide average of 31 points, alongside an exceptional 97.4% pass rate, surpassing the global average of 82.6%.

Among this year's highlights:
- 2 students achieved an impressive 43 out of 45 points
- 4 students scored 40 points or higher
- 31% earned the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma, demonstrating excellence across languages and cultures.

These exceptional results reflect the hard work, resilience, and ambition of our students, the unwavering dedication of our teachers, and the invaluable support of our parents.

Congratulations to the SISQ Class of 2026! We are immensely proud of your achievements and wish you every success as you embark on the next chapter of your journey.
