في إطار التزامه بالتطوير المهني المستمر، سجّل فريق اللغة العربية في المرحلة الابتدائية حضورًا فاعلًا في ورشة التطوير المهني حول ممارسات برنامج السنوات الابتدائية (PYP) يوم السبت الموافق 6 يونيو 2026. وقد تفاعل الفريق بحماس مع الأنشطة المختلفة، وكان لمشاركتهم الفاعلة وتفاعلهم الإيجابي دورٌ في إثراء النقاشات المهنية وتبادل الخبرات والأفكار التي تدعم تطوير الممارسات التعليمية وتعزز أثرها في تعلم الطلبة.
In line with its ongoing commitment to continuous professional development, the Primary Arabic Language Team actively attended a professional development workshop on PYP practices on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The team engaged enthusiastically in the various activities, and their active participation and positive interaction contributed to enriching professional discussions and exchanging ideas and experiences that support the development of teaching practices and enhance their impact on student learning.

Recently, our grade 10 student Anooj participated in the Lumiere scholars Essay Award competition. Her essay was shortlisted from among 2100+ participants from across 104 countries. The essays were judged by professors from Oxford, Cambridge, and Columbia universities.
In an award ceremony held on Sunday May 17, Anooj’s essay won the Distinction Award and a scholarship to join any Lumiere Research Scholars Program.
As a school community we are very proud of you Anooj. Well done.

SISQ Head of PE and ECA Coordinator, hosted a coffee morning covering all aspects of PE, sport and ECAs at SISQ. During the session, she highlighted the incredibly successful sporting year the school has had and how sporting opportunities at SISQ have continued to grow, now reaching triple figures across the current academic year. Parents were also given an insight into the PE curriculum, competitive sport opportunities and the vision for sport and physical activity across the school.
Thanks to all parents who attended and for the fantastic discussions and feedback shared throughout the morning.
