IIS SCOUTS & GUIDES PARTICIPATED IN WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY PROGRAMME: The Scouts and Guides of Ideal Indian School organized a meaningful program to observe World Environment Day with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and responsibility among students.
The program commenced with a prayer, followed by a speech highlighting the significance of World Environment Day and the importance of protecting our environment. An oath-taking ceremony was conducted by the Scouts and Guides, reaffirming their commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
To spread awareness among the school community, the Scouts and Guides organized an awareness parade through the corridors and classrooms with placards and slogans promoting environmental protection, sustainability, and responsible citizenship. As part of the initiative, students also participated in watering the plants, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and preserving greenery.
The program was coordinated by Scout Master Mr. Vijayant Thapa, Guide Incharge Ms. Suman Panwar, and Scout Incharge Mr. Saleem Bin Esa, whose guidance and efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the activities.
Acting Principal Mr. Mohamed Azam Khan and the Heads of Sections appreciated the sincere efforts of the Scouts and Guides and congratulated them on the successful accomplishment of the program. They commended the participants for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication towards creating environmental awareness and encouraged them to continue contributing towards a greener and more sustainable future. IIS TEAM EXCELS AT ENCUESTA–2026: The Ideal Indian School team, comprising Zikra Sabreen (Grade VIII), Humaira Nabeel Datey (Grade VI), and Muhammad Umar (Grade VII), emerged as the 2nd Runner-Up in ENCUESTA–2026, the Inter-School General Knowledge Quiz Competition organized by DPS Modern Indian School recently. The event witnessed the participation of students from various schools across Qatar and aimed to foster intellectual curiosity, promote knowledge-based competition, and enhance students’ analytical and critical-thinking skills
The quiz was conducted by the distinguished Quiz Master, Mr. Manzoor Moiudeen. In addition to individual trophies, the team also received certificates. The IIS team displayed commendable effort, outstanding teamwork, and exceptional enthusiasm throughout the competition.

IIS HOLDS ORIENTATION FOR PARENTS OF CLASSES X & XII
Ideal Indian School conducted an Orientation Programme for the parents of the Morning and Evening Session Classes X and XII recently. The programme commenced with a prayer by Dr. Ehtheshamudin, followed by a warm welcome and compering by Ms. Rajula V, P. The session aimed to provide guidance, share academic expectations, explain examination guidelines, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.
Addressing the parents, the Acting Principal, Mr. Mohammed Azham Khan, emphasized the significance of Classes X and XII as crucial milestones in a student's academic journey. He urged parents to encourage their children to adopt consistent study habits rather than rely on last-minute preparation. Highlighting the best practices for academic success, he advised parents to ensure that students revise lessons regularly, complete assignments and classwork on time, practice previous years' question papers, attend both regular and special classes diligently, and seek clarification of doubts without delay. He also stressed the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between academics and co-curricular activities. Elaborating on the shared responsibility of students, parents, and teachers, he underscored the vital role parents play in guiding, motivating, and supporting their children throughout their learning journey.
During the interactive question-and-answer session, parents expressed their appreciation for the school’s initiative in organizing the orientation programme and acknowledged its usefulness in understanding academic expectations and support strategies. Many parents suggested conducting more such orientation sessions in the future. They also recommended organizing career guidance and counselling programmes for both students and parents to help them make informed academic and career choices.
The programme witnessed the presence of the Heads of Sections from both the Boys' and Girls' Sections, as well as the parents of Classes X and XII. The session was organized and coordinated by Dr. Nazima Bi Shaikh, Vice Principal, Girls' Section.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Asaf Ali. The session resolved with a renewed commitment to fostering a strong home-school partnership for the holistic development and success of students.”

IIS Shines at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Chess Tournament: Ideal Indian School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its Girls’ Chess Teams at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Chess Competition 2026–27 held at Birla Public School, where the Girls Under-17 team secured First Place and qualified to the National Chess Championship scheduled to be held at LA Blossoms School, Punjab from 16.10.2026 to 20.10.2026, while the Girls Under-19 team achieved an impressive Third Place.
The victorious Under-17 team comprised Annliya Sajan (7F), Laina Ann Mathew (10K), Thamin Shah (10K), and Dana Fathima (10H).
The Under-19 team consisted of Raajasri Sivadasan (12F), Aaliyah Mansoor Ali (12H), Eva Fatin (9I), and Anushka Anil (11F), who displayed remarkable determination and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
The teams were trained and guided by Mr. Vijayant Thapa, while Ms. Suman Panwar served as the Team Manager. Their dedicated coaching, continuous encouragement, and committed support played a vital role in the teams’ excellent performances.
Acting Principal Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan, Vice Principal Dr. Nazima Bi Shaikh, and Headmistress Ms. Khatija TC congratulated the students for their exceptional accomplishment and appreciated their perseverance, discipline, dedication, and exemplary sportsmanship. IIS Team Excels at CBSE Qatar Cluster Volleyball Tournament : The Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 Boys’ Volleyball Teams of Ideal Indian School, proudly participated in the CBSE Qatar Cluster Volleyball Championship 2026–27, held at Rajagiri Public School from 16th to 20th June 2026.
The championship brought together talented teams from various CBSE-affiliated schools across Qatar, offering a highly competitive and enriching platform for student athletes.
IIS teams demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, making the institution proud with their commendable performances.
• The Under-14 Boys’ Volleyball Team secured the First Runner-Up position (Silver Medal).
• The Under-17 Boys’ Volleyball Team achieved the Second Runner-Up position (Bronze Medal).

IIS CELEBRATED WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY Ideal Indian School marked World Environment Day with vibrant presentations and a variety of conservation awareness programs. The campus was abuzz with activities centered around the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” Students had a wonderful opportunity to gain insights and firsthand experience of different aspects of the environment through a range of organized activities. Conservation awareness programs were conducted across all sections during both the morning and evening sessions, reflecting the school's commitment to promoting environmental responsibility.

The celebrations saw enthusiastic participation from the Kindergarten and Junior Sections. In the KG section, students came dressed as Earth, trees, wild animals, sea creatures, flowers, and more. Activity sheets based on the theme "Save Our Planet" were distributed for coloring, introducing the importance of environmental protection in a fun and engaging way.

In the Junior Section, a special assembly was held where students performed skits, recited poems, and delivered speeches on environmental topics. Various classroom activities based on the Environment Day theme were conducted across all grades. Students actively participated in activities such as making a bright leaf pattern, making a crawly chubby caterpillar, blooming spring tree craft and seeds magic in action. These initiatives provided students with hands-on learning experiences and reinforced the importance of adopting eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.

Ideal Eco Club organised a special Environment Day programme with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. Heads of Sections, Heads of Departments, and teachers attended the event. The programme highlighted the importance of protecting our planet and encouraged everyone to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.

The Acting Principal, Mohammad Azam Khan, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, highlighting critical environmental challenges such as pollution, climate change, and resource depletion. He encouraged students to adopt small yet meaningful actions to protect nature and emphasized the importance of becoming environmentally conscious citizens who contribute positively toward a sustainable future.

One of the special highlights of the programme was the installation of the office bearers of the Ideal Eco Club, recognizing the commitment and dedication of student members toward environmental initiatives. Students from both the Morning and Evening Sessions presented songs and dances based on environmental themes. A key highlight of the World Environment Day celebration was the release of the Eco Club Magazine.

The World Environment Day programme not only educated students about environmental issues but also inspired them to take meaningful steps toward building a greener and more sustainable future.

IIS HOLDS ORIENTATION FOR CLASSES X AND XII STUDENTS: Ideal Indian School recently conducted an Orientation Sessions for the Morning and Evening Session students of Classes X and XII. The programme aimed to provide students with guidance on board examination preparation, effective study strategies, time management, and the importance of discipline and consistency in achieving academic success.
The morning session programme commenced with the Class X Orientation Session, beginning with a prayer by Fizan of Class XI-A and welcome and compering by Neeraj J. Jogi of Class XI-A. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Princia Annie Pinto of Class X-H. This was followed by the Class XII Orientation Session, which began with a prayer by Master Hujayfa Khan of Class XI A and was welcomed and compered by Aysha Nahan Asif of Class XII-A.
For the evening session, the programme commenced with a prayer by Muhammad Sinan of Class XI-A, followed by welcome and compering by Zareef Ahmed of Class XI-A. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Afsheen Siddique of Class X-G.
Addressing both sessions, Acting Principal Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan emphasized the significance of discipline, responsibility, and consistent effort in achieving academic excellence. Through the motivational theme “Success Does Not Begin in January,” students were reminded that success is the result of regular preparation and perseverance. Using the analogy of the bamboo plant, he explained how meaningful growth often takes place long before results become visible.
The sessions highlighted the disadvantages of last-minute preparation, including stress, panic, and lack of confidence, while encouraging students to adopt daily study habits and effective planning. Practical suggestions such as regular revision, solving previous years’ question papers, and seeking guidance from teachers were also shared.
The programme was attended by the Heads of Sections of both the Morning and Evening Sessions, along with the students of Classes X and XII. Both sessions were successfully coordinated by Dr. Nazima Bi Shaikh, Vice Principal, Girls Section.
The orientation concluded on an inspiring note, motivating students to approach the academic year with confidence, commitment, and a positive mindset while reinforcing the message that hard work, determination, and consistency are the keys to success.

IIS TEAM SHINES AT THE SCHOOLS OLYMPIC PROGRAM: Ideal Indian School proudly participated for the first time in the SOP Handball Competition – Secondary Stage (Level 4) for Public and Private Schools, held as part of the 19th Edition (2025–26) of the Schools Olympic Program, and created history by winning the Silver Medal on 07 May 2026 at the Qatar Handball Association.
In this remarkable debut, our talented athletes demonstrated exceptional sporting excellence, delivering outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Their teamwork, determination, skill, and unwavering spirit brought immense pride and honor to the entire school community.
Under the expert guidance of Satender Singh, Team Coach, the players displayed exemplary discipline, sportsmanship, and perseverance at every stage of the competition.

IIS SCOUTS & GUIDES UNIT HOLDS SAFE FROM HARM-AWARENESS CAMPAIGN: The Scouts and Guides of Ideal Indian School organised the “Safe From Harm – Awareness Campaign” with the objective of creating awareness among students about the positive and negative influence of social media on young minds and promoting safe and responsible online behaviour. The programme aimed to educate students on the importance of digital safety, respectful communication, cyber awareness, emotional well-being, and the responsible use of social media platforms.
The school was honoured to welcome Mr. Ahmed Khamis B. Al Yousuf, Scout Activities Consultant, and Ms. Paramjeet Bhullar, Coordinator for Expatriate Scouts, as the chief guests for the programme. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Mohammed Azam Khan, Acting Principal, whose encouragement and support added great significance to the occasion. Adding further grace to the event were Dr. Nazima Bi Shaikh, Vice Principal (Girls Section), Ms. Khatija T.C., Headmistress (Girls Section), Ms. Lipsy Sabu, Assistant Headmistress (Boys Section), and Mr. Anwar Sadath, Acting Assistant Headmaster (Boys Section).
The awareness programme focused on important issues such as cyberbullying, excessive screen time, online scams, privacy protection, fake information, the emotional impact of social media, and the importance of maintaining healthy digital habits. Through interactive sessions, role plays, presentations, posters, and activity stations conducted by Senior Scouts and Guides, students were guided on how to use social media wisely, safely, and responsibly.
The Scouts and Guides displayed excellent teamwork, communication skills, and social responsibility throughout the programme under the leadership of Aysha Nahan Asif (Head Guide), Mohammed Aazim (Head Scout), Bhavya Babu (Assistant Head Guide), and Ahmed Jassim M.J. (Assistant Head Scout). The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and proved to be highly informative and impactful. It successfully encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens and reinforced the values of safety, respect, kindness, discipline, and self-awareness in both online and offline environments.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Vijayant Thapa, Scout Master, Ms. Suman Panwar, Guides Incharge, and Mr. Saleem Bin Esa, Scouts Incharge, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth organisation and success of the programme.
