Today, we want to showcase our Doha College alumna, Elizabeth Dodds!

Elizabeth is currently representing England at the 2026 Commonwealth Games and competes in the Para Athletics T38 category in the 100m, 200m, and long jump.

Elizabeth's Doha College journey began in Year 6 and continued through to Year 11.

She has cerebral palsy, but Elizabeth never allowed it to define her ambitions. With the support of Doha College's dedicated Learning Support team, alongside the encouragement of her teachers and coaches, she was empowered to thrive both academically and athletically. Her determination earned her a Council of British International Schools (COBIS) award for ‘resilience in the face of adversity’ during her time at Doha College.

We are very proud of her journey and wish Elizabeth the best of luck!

Doha College extends its deepest condolences to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the people of Qatar on the passing of His Highness the Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those mourning this great loss and offer our deepest respect during this difficult time.

Who’s ready for the Biggest Bake Sale Ever?
