Would they thank youโฆ or plead for help?
In Qatarโs challenging climate, every tree matters. ๐ณ
Theyโre not just greenery โ theyโre guardians of life.
They cool our cities, hold our soil, support wildlife, and remind us of natureโs quiet strength. ๐ฟ
But extreme weather, rapid development, and lack of care can uproot what took years to grow.
Are we planting enough?
Are we protecting whatโs already there?
๐ฑ Letโs root for change. Hereโs how YOU can help:
โ
Water a tree on your walk โ even a little goes a long way in the heat
โ
Report damaged or fallen trees to Baladiya or local authorities
โ
Plant native or drought-resistant species in your garden or balcony ๐ต
โ
Teach kids to love and protect nature โ start with a story, a walk, or a tree of their own
โ
Join local clean-up drives or green community initiatives
โ
Say no to unnecessary tree trimming โ over-pruning weakens trees in the summer
โ
Support businesses that protect green spaces and use eco-friendly landscaping
โ
Spread the word โ post, tag, talk, and inspire others ๐
โ
Celebrate trees โ take photos, name your favorite one, or sit under it with a friend โ๏ธ
๐Share a photo of a tree you love in Qatar.

๐ฟโจ Travel isnโt about ticking places off a list. Itโs about tuning into life โ as itโs lived, loved, and shared.
From warm village thalis and rhododendron trailsโฆ (Lali guraas) ๐ธ
To cozy porches blooming with local colorโฆ
To the sacred silence of snow-covered peaks and balanced stones โ
This journey was about more than just sights. It was about connection โ with people, with place, with purpose.
๐ Eat local. Stay small. Walk gently.
Because the most meaningful journeys are the ones that give back as much as they take in.

๐
This Earth Day, pause and reflect. ๐๐
Look closely at these two trees.
One stands bare, its branches reaching out like a silent cryโperhaps once thriving, now thirsty for revival. ๐ข
The other stands tall by the water, lush and alive, sheltering a quiet bench and mirroring life all around.
What kind of planet would you like to leave behind for your children? โ๏ธ๐
A dried, lifeless oneโฆ or a vibrant, breathing planet rich in green and blue?
Every action we take today will echo into tomorrow.
Choose sustainability. Choose responsibility. Choose life.
Letโs act nowโfor our only home. โป๏ธ๐ซถ
After watching The Need to Grow, I couldnโt unsee the truth.
The truth about our soil, our food, our future. ๐๐ค
But more importantlyโthe truth about our power to change it.
So I beganโฆ with microgreens. ๐
Small, simple, homegrown greens. ๐ชด๐
A daily reminder that regeneration can start on a kitchen counter.
That healing the Earth doesnโt begin with a revolutionโ
It begins with a seed, a tray of soil, and the courage to care.
This is my journey of hope, one sprout at a time. ๐ฟ
Whatโs yours?โ๐
Letโs grow. Letโs rise. Letโs restore. ๐คโจ๐ก

Overwhelmed to See This in My Hometown! ๐๐๐
Standing at the Beawar bus stand, I was struck by a simple yet powerful sightโthis WATER ATM. ๐งโป๏ธ
A small kiosk, yet a giant step towards sustainability, offering clean R.O. water at just โน5 per liter. No plastic waste, no overpriced bottled water, just a silent call to action: BYOB~Bring Your Own Bottle! โ
โ
Growing up, I remember how water was always sharedโโMatkasโ at home, steel bottles in our school bags, and the ever-trusted roadside โPyausโ (public water taps). But somewhere along the way, disposable plastic bottles took over. The convenience came at a costโlandfills and rivers choking with waste. โ ๏ธโ๏ธโ ๏ธ
We must take a stand, especially against very small disposable plastic bottles. Their recycling consumes an enormous amount of energy, and in places where proper recycling facilities are lacking, they ultimately end up in landfills, polluting our environment for centuries. โผ๏ธโ
Seeing this initiative fills me with hope! ๐๐
More than Bank ATMโs need more such water ATMs across public places, schools, and markets to create a culture for sustainable living! โป๏ธ๐๐ฟ
A few simple ways to contribute towards this initiative :
1๏ธโฃ Always carry a reusable water bottleโmake it a habit!
2๏ธโฃ Support and demand more refill stations in public spaces, schools, and markets.
3๏ธโฃ Encourage businesses and events to provide water dispensers instead of single-use plastic bottles.
4๏ธโฃ Say NO to 200ml and 250ml disposable bottlesโthey are the worst culprits of plastic waste!
5๏ธโฃ Spread awarenessโsmall changes add up to big impacts!
