Qatar Biomedical Research Institute wraps up the 6th edition of the Summer Research Program.

It attracted 21 students from Qatar University (QU), Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), Weill Cornell Medicine in Qatar (WCM-Q), and the University of Calgary in Qatar.

The program provides participants with unique opportunities for hands-on laboratory research experience under the supervision of our researchers in a supportive, challenging, and knowledge conducive environment.

Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University concluded its Summer Research Program (SRP) 2022 with an appreciation ceremony on August 18 to showcase student experiences through poster presentations.

معهد قطر لبحوث الطب الحيوي ومعهد قطر لبحوث الحوسبة بجامعة حمد بن خليفة يتعاونان مع مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية لإطلاق اختبار سريري لأداة فحص مقدمات السكري. قال الدكتور عمر الأجنف "ستكون هذه التجربة معلمًا رئيسيًا للمشروع بفعل نتائجها التي تتمحور حول المريض والتي يمكن أن تساعد في التصدي للظروف الصحية الملحة في المنطقة".

يدعو معهد قطر لبحوث الطب الحيوي بجامعة حمد بن خليفة الدعوة الباحثين لحضور ندوة عبر الإنترنت بعنوان "التعريف الرقمي لتعزيز مرئية البحوث" من المزمع عقدها يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 28 يونيو، خلال الفترة من الساعة الواحدة إلى الثانية ظهرًا بتوقيت الدوحة.

ستركز الفعالية، التي تُعدُ جزءًا من سلسلة محاضرات المعهد للباحثين المبتدئين، على أهمية التعريف الرقمي للباحثين لتمييز أنفسهم وتحديد أبحاثهم ومساهماتهم البحثية وابتكاراتهم، حيث ستسلط الضوء على مزايا المعرف الرقمي الذي طوره مجتمع البحوث لتلبية هذه الحاجة واستخداماته وأفضل الممارسات في هذا الجانب. وقد صُمم المعرف المفتوح للباحثين والمساهمين لمساعدة الباحثين على تحديد وربط مساهماتهم وانتماءاتهم في مختلف التخصصات والحدود على مدى حياتهم المهنية.

QBRI encourages researchers to attend its online seminar titled “Digital Identification to Promote Research Visibility” on June 28, from 1-2 pm (Doha time).

The event, part of the QBRI Early Career Researchers Webinar series, will focus on the importance of digital identification for researchers to distinguish themselves and identify their research, scholarship, and innovation. It will highlight the features and best practice uses of a digital identifier developed by the research community to meet this need. ORCID – an Open Researcher and Contributor iD – was designed to help researchers identify and connect their contributions and affiliations across disciplines and borders over the span of their careers.
