👉🏿Ripe coffee beans (also known as coffee cherries) are typically bright, deep red.

👉🏿 However, depending on the specific variety, some ripe coffee cherries can be yellow,purple or even orange when fully mature.

👉🏿👉🏿Here is how the color of coffee changes over time:

👉🏿Unripe: The cherries start out green and are hard to the touch.

👉🏿Ripe (Harvest Time): They turn vibrant red (or sometimes yellow) and become slightly soft.

Overripe: If left too long, the cherries shrivel and turn dark purple or raisin-like, which degrades the flavor
