The Gems American Academy Qatar Parent Association (GEMSAAQPA) works with the principal and staff of the school to build an effective partnership of home and school. Educational research on the involvement of parents in schools shows that children achieve higher levels when parents and teachers work together. The Parent Association (PA) can suggest and/or organize extra-curricular activities. The

Parent Association (PA) can invite speakers to address the parents on issues which are topical or relevant. The Parent Association (PA) will hold various fund raisers throughout the year. The Parent Association (PA) is not a forum for complaint against either an individual teacher or parent. The Parent Association (PA) provides a wonderful way for Family and Friends to be helpful while making connections. We invite you to volunteer at whatever level fits your schedule and lifestyle! There are volunteer opportunities large and small, as well as plenty of chances to simply gather and socialize with others. The Parent Association at Gems American Academy Qatar are here to support you and your children. Come along and join us all parents are welcome.
