This Thursday, Secondary students will come together to mark the FIFA World Cup 2026 by wearing their national football shirt, a Qatar football shirt, or the colours of the Qatar flag. As an international school community, this is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared love of football while showing support for Qatar and the many nations represented within our school. We look forward to seeing our students proudly showcasing the spirit of the beautiful game.⚽🇶🇦

A warm AKIS welcome to our newest learners and their families!
Over the past two weeks, our new Foundation Stage children have been visiting their classrooms, meeting their teachers and classmates, and exploring their new learning environment. Through play, discovery, and familiarisation activities, they have begun building confidence and a sense of belonging ahead of the new school year. We were also delighted to welcome parents to an information afternoon, providing an opportunity to learn more about life at AKIS, meet staff, and prepare for an exciting start to their child's educational journey. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August!☺️

In humanities, students have been using their research skills to find out about the famous aviator, Amelia Earhart. They gathered key facts and created their own fact files, developing their skills in researching, selecting information, and presenting their findings clearly.😃👍
