Values take root when they are experienced, practiced, and woven into everyday learning. This year, Birla Public School's commitment to nurturing responsible and value-driven learners has been recognized through outstanding achievements in the Qatar National Identity (QNI) Programme.

Following a year-long evaluation of QNI initiatives conducted across private and government schools in the State of Qatar, the school was awarded two Golden Category Certificates, one Silver Category Certificate, and one Bronze Category Certificate by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar, for the project, “My Values Shape My Identity.”

These achievements stand as a testament to the dedication of students, educators, and the entire school community in embracing the spirit of Qatar National Identity and fostering meaningful learning experiences that build character, purpose, and a strong sense of belonging.

Success in sports is built through discipline, perseverance, and countless hours of dedication behind the scenes. Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, Riya Kurian of Grade XI delivered a remarkable performance at the Trivandrum District Badminton Championship 2026, held from 23rd to 27th May at TOSS Academy, Manacaud.
Competing with confidence and consistency, Riya emerged as the Winner in both the Girls' Singles Under-17 and Under-19 categories and went on to claim the Championship Trophy, a testament to her hard work and sporting excellence.

Demonstrating remarkable confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking, the Birla Public School team delivered an outstanding performance at the Qatar Primary First Debate League 2026 held at Amjad International Academy, Doha.

Competing with clarity, conviction, and excellent communication skills, the team proudly secured the Championship Trophy, reflecting the dedication and preparation of these young debaters. Adding to the achievement, Pranav Pradeep earned recognition as the Top First Speaker, while Mohith Muthu secured an impressive 8th place position.

The team comprised Mohith Muthu, Pranav Pradeep, Mohammed Aman, Kapelan Bhoopathi, Mikhail Vincent, and Mohammed Yazan , whose teamwork and determination played a vital role in this memorable accomplishment.

Master Mikhail Vincent Paul of Class VI C is one such learner whose passion for knowledge has transformed unique interests into extraordinary accomplishments.

From identifying hundreds of vehicle brand logos, dinosaur species, and birds to earning multiple entries in the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records, Mikhail's journey reflects an exceptional blend of curiosity, dedication, and perseverance. His love for learning extends beyond records, earning him National Rank 4 in the International French Competition in 2025 and an outstanding National Rank 1 in 2026.

A confident speaker and enthusiastic participant, Mikhail actively engages in quizzes, debates, poem recitations, and creative competitions, while also pursuing interests in basketball, tennis, cricket, chess, swimming, piano, and guitar. His achievements are a testament to the power of curiosity and consistent effort, inspiring fellow students to dream bigger, learn deeper, and explore beyond boundaries.

Birla Public School, Doha proudly commenced the CBSE Qatar Cluster Chess Tournament 2026–27, bringing together talented student players from across Qatar for a celebration of strategy, intellect, and sportsmanship. The tournament was formally inaugurated by Dr. Anand R. Nair, Principal, who welcomed the participants and marked the beginning of an exciting competition that will continue until 4th June.

Over the coming days, the tournament will provide students with an opportunity to test their skills, learn from one another, and demonstrate the qualities that make chess much more than a game. We extend our best wishes to all participants for a memorable and rewarding tournament.
