On September 10 and 11, our PAIS novice and expert teams took the floor at the Inter Debate Tournament. Two days of sharp arguments, critical thinking and real exchange of ideas carried both teams to the finals. 👏🏼 And both brought home second-place trophies. 🥈🥈Congratulations to everyone who made it happen!

🏆 EXCELLENCE AWARDS FOR ALPHA - PAIS! 🤖✨

Saturday, September 5th marked the first robotics event of the season of the National Robotics League in Paraguay, hosted at Colegio Del Sol. A day packed with teams, families, excitement, learning… and plenty of robots collaborating and doing their thing! ✅

But what exactly does an Excellence Award mean for a VEX IQ Elementary team?

🔹 1. ENGINEERING & CURIOSITY 🧠
Judges look at the team’s Engineering Notebook and how students design, test, improve and explain their robot. It’s not just “Look what we built!” It’s “Here’s how we thought our way through it.”

🔹 2. TEAMWORK & STUDENT VOICE 🤝
Students are interviewed and must demonstrate communication, collaboration, problem-solving and ownership of their work. Adults can guide, but the students are the ones behind the wheel of the learning.

🔹 3. PERFORMANCE & SPORTSMANSHIP 🏅
Excellence also means performing strongly on the field, including qualification matches and Skills challenges, while showing positive conduct, teamwork and professionalism.

In other words: it’s not only about having a great robot. It’s about becoming a great team. ❤️🤖

And that’s what made this first event so special: competition with a purpose, learning through experience, new friendships, nervous laughs, exciting matches and those unforgettable “YESSS!” moments from the stands. 🎉

It is hopefully the first chapter of an amazing robotics season! 📚⚙️

Congratulations, Alpha - PAIS! 🏆👏
The season has officially started!
