* Attention span: The glow and novelty of a light table can help children stay focused on an activity for a longer period of time and help increase their attention span.

* Visual discrimination: Children can develop their visual discrimination skills by exploring and manipulating different objects on a light table. 

* Pattern and color recognition: Can help children recognize patterns and colors through novel items included in different activities.
