Learning becomes an enjoyable experience when it is paired with emotions, such as joy, happiness, or excitement. This is because we are more likely to remember things that we feel strongly about.

By freedom I mean either the ability to act or change without coercion, or to possess the power and resources to achieve one's goals without hindrance.

I greatly value the freedom I have on both a professional and personal level and am very grateful for it.

I have always strived for this freedom, starting when I started my own business and more recently deciding to work remotely. Of course, this has also given me more personal freedom, allowing me to spend more "me time" and more quality time with my teenage son, family members and friends.

So I can well understand my learners when they tell me they are tired of depending on their colleagues to speak in English in meetings, or on their spouses when they travel.

I am so grateful to be able to adapt to my learners' motivations.

But you can say, "But in everyday life, I don't have the opportunity to practice English."

And I will answer, "Don't wait for opportunities to come your way. Create your opportunities. Be proactive and let English enter your life in every possible way.
