Summer break means a new adventure every day!

Today was AIS on Wheels 🚲! From scooters and bicycles to anything with wheels they love to ride, our campus became the perfect place for fun, movement and big smiles.

Week 3 of our AIS Summer Camp is here 🌊 and it has been full of sand, waves and unforgettable adventures!

Over the past few weeks, our EY4 to Primary children have been discovering the excitement of bodyboarding, and this week it’s time to catch some waves with surf lessons. 🏄‍♀️

Being just 10 minutes from the beach gives our children the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, build confidence, embrace new challenges and create lifelong memories in the great outdoors.

There is something truly special about summer days spent by the sea, and we couldn’t be more grateful to share these experiences with our children. 💙

We welcomed our parents onto the pitch to join their children during our Football Extracurricular Activity and what an incredible afternoon it was!

Filled with teamwork, laughter, goals and plenty of special moments, it was a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to play side by side, create lasting memories and enjoy quality time together. ⚽️

Moments like these remind us that some of the most meaningful learning happens through connection, shared experiences and a strong sense of community.

One of the most special days in our school calendar has arrived. 💛

Today, we celebrate World Children’s Day.

🌊 Water games and splash-filled fun
⚽ Sports challenges and team activities
💛 Emotional wellbeing games and reflection moments
💃 Dance, movement and self-expression
🤝 Teamwork, friendship and collaboration
😄 Plenty of laughter, smiles and unforgettable memories

All carefully planned to create a day filled with joy, connection and celebration for our children.

Students across the school enjoyed their own tailored programme of activities, all created with one purpose: to celebrate the magic of childhood and the happiness that comes from learning, growing and playing together.

We ended the day in the most colourful way possible, with our Holi Powder Party 🌈 a moment of pure excitement, smiles and celebration.

And although we’ve shared a few glimpses of the day, we haven’t shown you everything just yet… 👀

At AIS Lower Secondary (ages 11–13), students are encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity and purpose. 🌱

Through the Cambridge curriculum, wellbeing, technology, sports and extracurricular experiences, we support each student in developing academically, socially and emotionally within a close-knit and caring community.

In 2026/27, Lower Secondary students will also be welcomed into a brand-new building designed to support this exciting stage of learning and growth.

As we welcomed the Teddy Bear Hospital 🧸, powered by Lusíadas, for a very special morning with our Kindergarten and Primary students.

With their favourite toys in hand, our children stepped into the role of little caregivers, learning how to look after others through play, kindness and curiosity 💛

There was something truly special about watching them care so gently, ask thoughtful questions and fully immerse themselves in the experience.

Because sometimes, the simplest moments are the ones that teach the most, about empathy, wellbeing and what it means to care.

We had the privilege of welcoming to our school for an incredible live demonstration of wild animals 🐍✨

Through this engaging and age-appropriate experience, our students explored fascinating facts about each species, deepening their understanding of wildlife, habitats and the importance of respecting all living beings.

More than a learning moment, it was a unique opportunity for close contact and meaningful interaction, allowing each child to truly experience the uniqueness of every animal 🤍

This week, we celebrated books in all their forms, and today, we close it in the most meaningful way. ✌🏻

From our Book Fair with .toca.space , to the presentation of Splosh! by in our Treehouse, to our “Take a Book, Leave a Book” moment, and a day dedicated to becoming a favourite character… every day brought stories to life.

And today was about exactly that, stepping into a character that left a mark. One that somehow became part of who they are.

It was incredible to see their choices.
From powerful, meaningful stories… to encyclopaedias that spark curiosity and reflection… to books that connect with their newest passions, like football ⚽

Because the truth is simple, there is a book for everyone. And in every book, a little piece of us.

Thank you for such a special week. What a beautiful community we have 🌱

Through simple lines, bold colours and an open invitation to create, “La main qui dessine”📚 introduces children to the magic of expression from an early age.

This is more than a story, it is an experience. A book that invites children to explore, to imagine and to understand that their ideas have value. With every page, they are encouraged to take risks, to experiment and to see creativity as something that belongs to them.

At AIS, we believe that creativity is not taught, it is nurtured. And sometimes, all it takes is a simple line… and the freedom to follow it 🌿
