Who says that parents and other grown ups can't have fun and learn Portuguese at the same time?

Here we're going to prove those wrong!

From time to time I receive messagens from parents asking me for adult Portuguese classes; I supose they see their children learning and having fun and they start having FOMO? 😆

So, due to the interest shown in the past, I've decided to see how much interest there is for thr grown-up version of Portuguese Playhub lessons. the idea is to keep the same guiding principles:

- To have fun and learn through games and lot's of interaction with the language

-Focus on speaking and listening skill.

Olá a todos!

Hello to everyone who has just recently arrived or have been here for awhile!

How are you all doing?
For me, life in teh background has been a litte etick, I have to say, being forced by the landlord to lleave our current home, but we decided to turn this into an oportunity and to do something we've talk about for yeeears... Although this initial set up and moving is hard and stressful we believe in the long term it'll be very beneficial for our family.

But enough about me, what are you looking for when you started to follow Portuguese Playhub? How can I help?

Are you looking for a fun and effective way for you children to learn Portuguese? We have lessons starting soon, so please stay tuned!

Are you looking for adult lessons? I'm planning to start that soon as well as I have so many parents looking for lessons for themselves as well, I guess they see their children having fun and started to have F.O.M.O (did I use that correctly? 😅)

The gardens at is the perfect stop to help you cool down and to let the children, well, be children!

Lisbon is an amazing city to visit or live with children, but, in my opinion, has a huge gap on accessible wild green spaces. This one, they can’t explore wildly, pick flowers or things like that, but its very big, has nice shade, grass spaces to play and run (just be careful with the plants and trees!) and have fun with the ducks!

Visiting Lisbon with small children can be very fun! I think Lisbon is very child friendly and there’s so many things going on to do and visit!

A mum on facebook asked for recommendations on what to do and here’s my recommendations.

This July course of online European Portugueses lessons was specially designed to help children to transition to a new life in Portugal.

With this course they’ll learn the basics of Portuguese and be able to navigate their first months with more ease.

Your child can join the complete programme or you select the weeks that work best for your family.

I hear you asking: what’s it like to learn Portuguese with you? Here’s what we focus on!

This isn’t just some random method, it based on years of experience as an educator and teacher of languages as well as continuous research on the best methods how children learn a language and how children actually learn.

We learn and practice vocabulary and grammar, but all based in real life contexts, not a set of vocabulary list.

We follow the research the European framework and the Portuguese government guidelines, but we also adapt it to make it meaningful for children!
