This really is one of those pinch me moments….

Edo Edo (Edo & Jo) and I are teaming up to offer a 7 night stay at the magnificent Monte da Orada next year. It’s one I have been dreaming about for a while and it’s finally here.

Chant with me?

I was first introduced to the harmonium during my first ever teacher training. I remember the vibration hitting me in a way that pierced through all the layers and struck a chord somewhere deep inside.

I wasn’t sure what it was, but it left me curious.

It wasn’t until more than 10 years later that I gave myself permission to step into this world of mantra, and I bought myself my own harmonium. A whole new world opened up for me!

The person who opened the door was Edo Kahn , an incredible musician and Bhakti yogi. Since doing our 200hr TT together, our paths connected and diverged, and I am very happy to tell you that we are reunited in 2027 to offer a 7 night Yoga and Bhakti retreat in Portugal.

All the details will be released to our mailing lists very soon. If you want to know more, please send me a message with your name and email and you’ll be the first to know.

This is a chant for Ganesha, melody by Edo & Jo. One of my favourites ever. 🐘

This is a practice that’s deeply personal. But when we gather in person, it becomes even more potent.

2027 retreat schedule dropping this week. DM me your email and I’ll add you to the list. 📩

I wonder if we could get President Fart to come?

It’s always there, the underlying and unchanging beingness, but it’s not always easy to access.

The drama of experience often eclipses the awareness of being. The veils of perception shrouding the light within as we get on with the business of our days.

But we can most certainly get glances beneath the veil. I like to think of these as portals, small cracks we can pass through, albeit momentarily, before the content of experience becomes the dominating force once more.

Portals could be many things, and I suspect that whilst there are commonalities, we will all have our own preferred ways.

For me, it’s:
🫁Pranayama
💃Flow movement
🎹 Harmonium
↔️ Lying down
🌳 Being in a forest
👩🏼‍🍼Snuggling my babies to sleep
🥰Being in the arms of my partner

What are your portals these days?

I’d love to know! Tell me in the comments 📩

I remember checking a mirror before I ever thought to check how something felt. Years in dance studios will do that to you.

That room taught me to perform a shape. It didn’t teach me anything about what was true underneath it.

Yoga, in my world, doesn’t ask you to match a picture. It asks you to notice what is actually happening here, now, in this body. What the felt sense is telling you, before the mind arrives with its opinions about right and wrong. No mean feat!

Not the pose you’ve been chasing. Not the version you think you should have by now. Just what is real, today.

If that’s your kind of yoga, then you are in the right place. I invite you to check out all my free practices on my website (link in bio).

Much love, Pippa

What are we retreating from when we go to these places?

The daily grind?
The constant ‘on & available’ mode?
The noise?
The internet?

And what do we find when we get there?

Spaciousness?
Clarity?
Connection?
Grounded calm?
Restfulness?

Maybe, maybe not. Of course we bring it all with us, and that’s the point. Retreat time isn’t running away from life. Rather, it gifts you the opportunity to turn towards the things that maybe you have been pushing aside for later.

By turning towards those things, in a supportive, held environment, we can tend to them, with care and love.

Some things we leave behind, given back to mama earth. And the maybe we return to our daily lives with other things that feel more familiar and new.

I have a few retreat offerings - from a 1 day reset to a full deep dive week in the UK and in Portugal.

Make sure you are on my email list to receive all the details first (link in my bio).
