On April 23rd, Porto Pianofest returns to Yamaha Artist Services New York for our 9th annual NYC event — and keeps getting better! With the generous support of Yamaha and the Consulate General of Portugal in New York, we bring together our incredible community of musicians, piano lovers, and friends of the festival for an evening that belongs entirely to music.
Whether you're a longtime PPF family member or discovering us for the first time, this is your invitation. Porto calls this summer — but New York comes first.

The 2nd Porto Pianofest in Madrid— what a night!

We are so grateful to have been welcomed into the iconic Teatro Real last night for a beautiful evening of music, wine, and the warmth of wonderful company.

A heartfelt thank you to our guests for filling the room with such an incredible energy, and to everyone who made the evening possible:
The Ambassador of Portugal in Spain, for your gracious support and presence
Yamaha Iberia, for always providing the most gracious instruments
Cámara de Comercio Hispano Portuguesa, for championing the cultural bridge between our two countries
Vinevinu, for the Vinho Verde that flowed beautifully through the evening
And the friends of the festival who traveled, showed up, and made it feel like home

And of course — a standing ovation for our invited guest Alba Ventura, whose performance was nothing short of extraordinary. ✨

On April 7th, Porto Pianofest arrives at the breathtaking ballroom of the Teatro Real for an evening bringing together our festival family in Spain, the Portuguese and Spanish diplomatic communities, and musicians from across the Iberian world. We are especially grateful to our dear friends at Yamaha, whose artistry and instruments make evenings like this possible.

Three incredible pianists at the high-points of their careers! We can't wait to have them at Porto Pianofest this August presenting incredible recitals and working with our participants.

The PPF International Series is officially underway — a string of events across three cities this spring, each one bringing the spirit of Porto Pianofest to a different corner of the world before we all converge in Porto this August. From the Ambassador's Residence in Washington DC, to the Teatro Real in Madrid, to Yamaha Artist Services in New York — this is how we build toward something unforgettable.

Last night, Washington welcomed Porto Pianofest. ✨
We had a truly special evening at the Residence of the Ambassador of Portugal to the United States, where festival directors Nuno Marques and Mariel Mayz took to the piano and filled the house with music. The reception that followed — out on the terrace, with DC's magnolias in full bloom — was the kind of night that reminds you why we do all of this.
Thank you to Ambassador Francisco Duarte Lopes and the Embassy of Portugal for hosting us with such warmth and generosity.
