Masks with meaning! 🎭

After exploring the significance of masks in Maya culture, students worked together in groups to research different designs and their symbolic meanings, giving students a deeper appreciation of the traditions and beliefs of the Maya civilisation. Using their findings as inspiration, they collaborated to plan, design, and create their own group masks, combining creativity with cultural understanding. 📜

The result was a collection of imaginative and meaningful masks that brought history to life in a hands‑on way. ✨
