When Midnight Strikes | Minuit Sonne et Farandole

A poetic tale by Alizée Goulet with the delicate illustrations by Laurence G.T, where the mystery of the night meets the small joys of childhood.
Dooooong! Midnight strikes. Juno, Minne, and Liondoux quietly slip out of bed, cross the sleeping house, and venture into the woods. Hidden behind the bushes, they witness a strange and wondrous parade: bears, hares, frogs, deer, and squirrels playing drums, flutes, and maracas beneath the full moon. Drawn into the music, the three children begin to spin, laugh, and dance—until they suddenly tumble into the farandole. Paf! Surprise gives way to delight as children and animals share dances, laughter, and melodies... until sunrise.

Another Bologna Children's Book Fair wrapped up! Days filled with inspiring meetings with editors, authors, and agent friends, post-fair dinners and encounters, a few missed connections, and even some cancelled flights… the usual whirlwind. 😊
