𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭. 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭. 🏃‍➡️🤖

According to the 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 report on the teaching profession in the EU, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 reports using AI in their work, while participation in AI-related training remains below the OECD average.

At the same time, 𝟲𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟲–𝟮𝟰 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨 used generative AI in 2025.

The contrast is clear: AI is already shaping how students search, create, communicate and learn, but many educators still lack the time, training and practical support needed to use it with confidence.

This is not about asking teachers to adopt every new trend. It is about giving them the knowledge to understand what AI can bring to education, where its limitations lie and how to use it responsibly.

With a clear pedagogical purpose, AI can support lesson planning, resource creation, differentiation, feedback and new classroom activities. But the real difference does not come from the tool itself. It comes from teachers who know how to question, adapt and apply it meaningfully.

Through 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘀+ 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, teachers can explore practical tools, exchange experiences with European colleagues and build the confidence to integrate AI responsibly.

This new course helps educators recognise the early signs of burnout, establish healthier digital boundaries and use AI and automation to reduce workload and reclaim valuable time. Learning beyond the classroom can create some of the most meaningful educational experiences. 🌿

We are delighted to share Isabelle’s feedback following her participation in our **Outdoor Education** course on the beautiful island of São Miguel, in the Azores.

From active and practical learning to international collaboration, cultural exchange and the exploration of new educational approaches, this course offered participants an inspiring opportunity to experience the value of outdoor learning first-hand.

Good food, healthy habits, Mediterranean traditions and plenty of moments to share! 🍅🫒

The second edition of our 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 - 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 course had all the right ingredients for a memorable learning experience.

Participants explored, tasted and discovered a way of life in which food, culture, wellbeing and community come together — with plenty of learning beyond the classroom.

Skills in action, learning in real workplaces. 👩‍🎓💼

We have been welcoming VET students from different fields, each bringing their own skills, motivation and energy into professional environments abroad.

From 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗧, these students have been experiencing Erasmus+ through practical learning, daily workplace routines and direct contact with local teams.

Their mobility is about much more than work experience.

June was one of those months that barely gave us time to stop — in the best possible way. ✨

So many people, so many courses, so many moments happening across the Azores, Lisbon, Porto, Madeira, Málaga, Valencia and Faro, our participants lived a month filled with new skills, cultural discovery and meaningful international exchange. Our classrooms were full, our groups were full of energy, and each destination brought its own rhythm, culture and stories to the experience.

And of course, June in Porto could only mean one thing… São João! 🎉
Our participants joined the city’s most iconic celebration, complete with the famous little hammers, big smiles and plenty of festive spirit. 🥳🔨

A month that reminded us why Erasmus+ experiences go far beyond the classroom.
