Erasmus+ project with learning material outputs on photogrammetry and modelling

The photogrammetric survey in Trenta, Slovenia with the participation of the project members and local adult learners on 18th June 2024. The surveyed object was the water powered sawmill of the village that lied close to the Italian border.

Adult learners of the training session were: Andrejka ŠČUKOVT, Edvin KRAVANJA, Igor ZAKOTNIK, Katja KOSIČ, Rok FRELIH and Tina KOMAC.

The photogrammetric survey in Trenta, Slovenia with the participation of the project members and local adult learners on 18th June 2024. The surveyed object was the water powered sawmill of the village that lied close to the Italian border. The survey was led by Maj Juvanec this time too and was started with the placement of the identification points on the building and the surrounding objects being necessary for the scaling of the later point cloud model. For the latter purpose the distance between the points were measured by hand and then the photos were taken for the survey - both using DSLR camera and the drone and the panoramic camera was also used.

For training purposes Maj Juvanec also hold a lecture on the methodology of the photogrammetric survey to the adult learners who also participated in realising the main goal of the venue.

Participants of the survey were:

Adult learners: Andrejka ŠČUKOVT, Edvin KRAVANJA, Igor ZAKOTNIK, Katja KOSIČ, Rok FRELIH and Tina KOMAC.

Final meeting of the SNAP+ project took place in Budapest, Hungary on 29th and 30th October 2024. Participants of the meeting were: Borut Juvanec and Andreja Benko (IVA), Ana Lima and Gilberto Carlos (UPT), Sorana Vlad, Radu Stoica, Gábor Tóthfalusi, Isván Levente Szőcs (Tektum), Attila Czigany (Aleron IT) and Gabor Palotas (EK).

Aleron IT introduced SNAP+ programme and outputs to a wide audience at a conference held at Hotel Benczúr on 24th October. The presentations put the models into focus, primarily the windmill of Tés in its interactive version. The adult educational contents of the project were also described in detailed, showcasing the authors' suggested methodology for photogrammetric surveys. The Sacred Past conference was hosted by Symmetry Foundation in cooperation with Aleron IT and EK Association, Hungarian participants of the SNAP+ project.

A SNAP+ multiplier event presentation was held at Taliándörögd, Hungary by EK Association in cooperation with Symmetry Foundation. The program took place on 26th and 27th July 2024, titled the TÉKA Vernacular Architectural Days. As part of the event Gabor Palotas from EK Association presented the educational contents of the programme, including the online platform, the print-form handbook and the quizzes. The interactive model of Tés windmill was also showcased. The audience was made up by architects, heritage experts, adult education trainers and trainees.

A multiplier event on the educational products of the SNAP+ project was held in Porto at the Ordem dos Arquitectos (SR Norte) on 21st February 2025. The event was organised by Universidade Portucalense UPT and it included several lectures by the educators and participants of the programme. The programme showcased the pdf-form handbook on photogrammetry and the case studies of the project, the quizzes and a methodological summary held by Maj Juvanec in the form of a webinar, joining the event virtually from Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Universidade Portucalense UPT organises a multiplier event on 21st February 2025 at Ordem dos Arquitectos - SR NORTE. The event showcases the products of the SNAP+ project on the usage of photogrammetry in heritage projects.

Multiplier Event was held in Cluj, Romania by our partner Tektum Arhitectura.

The Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry, of which TEKTUM is a member, is a public-interest non-governmental organization, supporting local development. Therefore, as a local partner, the Chamber has provided the infrastructure, technical assistance, and, most importantly, the meeting space for the Photogrammetry Aided Surveying in Heritage Management - SNAP+ multiplier event held on the 5 th of February in Cluj-Napoca.

The presentation occurred on Wednesday, the 5th February 2025, at 10.00 AM, in the main conference hall of the Chamber’s headquarters. The event consisted of the project’s presentation, delivered by TEKTUM’s team, and free discussions, organized so different participants could partake and receive complete information regarding the project’s objectives. The presentation, supported by a PowerPoint, comprised a brief of the project, an introduction to photogrammetry, descriptions of the case studies and their subsequent methodology, and a listing of the project
results.

The participants, with different backgrounds - mostly related to adult education, construction, architecture, or heritage conservation, have shown interest in the topic, contributing with questions and observations.
