Took my new jumpsuit on a little day trip to Santa Maria da Feira today!

This is the Alexa Jumpsuit from Tilly and the Buttons | Learn to sew with easy sewing patterns - I made a size 5 and am right now!

The fabric is a beautiful rayon Laura McDougal got me! I just LOVE how summary it is!

And we had an amazing time checking out this absolute stunner of a castle and very cute town. We will be back for their medieval fastival next year for SURE!

Happy Sleevetember to those who celebrate!

Did a little kitchen update this morning! Swipe for a before!

We are renting so we can't do anything major, but when I updated our apartment in Chicago I used a sticker backsplash and it made such a difference! Because we had tile back there, I found a company on Etsy that makes tile stickers and was able to work with them to create custome size stickers because our tile dimensions were all over the place. It looks SO good and made such a difference! Obviously that emergency kitchen rug I got at the dollar store is next to get replaced haha

I’ve still got a few spots in my Nougat live class, pattern by Aimée Gille | La Bien Aimée, that starts this Saturday morning! Honestly, I kinda forgot about it lol - there is a lot going on!

WHEN? Saturdays August 15, 22 & 29 from 9-10:30am CT

We’ll learn:

- Gauge as you go
- Size modifications
- Intro to intarsia knitting
- Intarsia best practices - how to find the best intarsia method for you and when to adjust
- Adjusting the pattern for any yarn weight
- Reading a chart
- Increasing and decreasing in pattern

🥳 New dress!

I made a Seamwork Pearl dress out of a bed sheet I found at a resale shop recently, and it had this lace at the top of the top sheet I used at the cuffs! 🤣

Continuing my nightgown core summer! Lol

Whoever decided this last chart should be 4, 5, and 6 color color work rounds is a total as***le.

When I need a break from it I knit the body of my Pressed Flowers Cardigan!

LOVE my new backless dress but I really needed a little support, so I sewed some 4 way stretch fabric and some gathered elastic into the yoke facing! It turned out so well I'm almost looking forward to the next hear wave!

💛 Pattern: Marigold Tank Dress, with the tie back expansion, from Seamwork
💛 Made a size 8 with no mods - I'm B37W30H40 right now
💛 Fabric is some quilting cotton Shane got me!
