I had an "OMG I live in Portugal and it's working" moment today.

I was doing admin for my studio and realized at 10h30 I was supposed to go to the Portimão museum this morning about a concert. I speed-walked 1.6km to the river front (and knew the way!), had my meeting and zipped back to the studio. On the way, a Portuguese man asked me a question. "Mais devegar, por favor," I answered (more slowly, please). He clearly asked for directions to Rua da hortinha, which I was able to give. He asked if I was English, I answered "Sou americana." He congratulated me on my Portuguese and thanked me for the directions. Amazing! ❤️🇵🇹

I have a video from one student to check accuracy, a question from another about a shifting exercise we started and a third about writing a composition using a pentatonic scale. What a great Thursday night! ❤️🎵❤️😎
