Friday looks different from up here.
Carolina is in the DA42, instruments live, on final approach for runway 21 at Ponte de Sor. While the weekend starts for everyone else, the training keeps going. Not because it has to, but because this is what it looks like when you are genuinely working towards something worth having.

Styrmir has just touched down in Ponte de Sor.
Through our partnership with Icelandic Aviation Training, cadets complete their full ATPL theory phase in Iceland before making the move to Sevenair Academy for flight training. Two schools, one structured pathway to a commercial pilot licence.
Styrmir has done the hard work in the classroom. Now comes the part where it all comes to life.

Before every flight, there is a process. Nothing gets skipped.

Gabriel is in the MEP phase of his training, where cadets transition from single-engine to multi-engine aircraft. A step up in complexity, in systems, in decision-making. The pre-flight checks reflect exactly that standard.

This is where the training starts to feel like the real thing.

Viktor has just completed his first ever flight at Sevenair Academy with his flight instructor Priscila.

As part of our partnership with Icelandic Aviation Training, cadets like Viktor complete their ATPL theory phase in Iceland before making their way to Ponte de Sor for the full flight training programme, right through to graduation.
