🏆𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝘀𝗼𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗼 𝗽𝗼́𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗻𝗮 𝟱.ª 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰̧𝗮̃𝗼 𝗱𝗼 “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻”🏅

A 5.ª edição do “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻” reuniu, em Coimbra, 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮 𝗮́𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗱𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲́𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮 de várias instituições de ensino superior nacionais, num fim de semana dedicado ao desenvolvimento de soluções tecnológicas para desafios reais do setor da saúde.

O evento, organizado pelo IEEE Student Branch da Universidade de Coimbra, com o apoio do IEEE EMBS Chapter Portugal (IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society), é uma competição intensiva na área da saúde onde equipas multidisciplinares trabalham durante 48 horas para responder a desafios concretos apresentados por unidades de saúde. Para além de sessões de mentoria especializada e workshops técnicos, os participantes tiveram de conceber, desenvolver e apresentar uma solução inovadora para um problema real identificado por uma unidade de saúde parceira do evento - o Hospital da Luz Coimbra.

O esteve 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗲𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲́𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮, que alcançaram um resultado de grande destaque ao conquistar o 𝟯.º 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰̧𝗮̃𝗼, garantindo um lugar no pódio. Este resultado evidencia a qualidade da formação e a capacidade de inovação dos estudantes do ISEC, num contexto competitivo e multidisciplinar.

O evento reforçou a importância da colaboração entre ensino superior, tecnologia e instituições de saúde, promovendo o empreendedorismo, o trabalho em equipa e o desenvolvimento de soluções inovadoras para os desafios atuais do setor da saúde.

Num contexto marcado pelo crescimento da Engenharia Biomédica, Bioengenharia e Engenharia Biológica em Portugal, a nova Direção assume o compromisso de reforçar o papel do Chapter como promotor da internacionalização e desenvolvimento profissional dos seus membros.

In a context marked by the growth of Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biological Engineering in Portugal, the new officers are committed to reinforce the role of the chapter as a promotor of internationalization and professional development of its members.
