Na semana passada estivemos em Berlim para a 2.ª Reunião Transnacional do projeto E-LEAD, acolhida pela GISMA University ✨

Durante dois dias, reunimo-nos com os parceiros para acompanhar o desenvolvimento do projeto, partilhar ideias e alinhar os próximos passos. A agenda incluiu momentos de trabalho sobre a análise de necessidades, o desenvolvimento curricular, a plataforma de e-learning baseada em IA, o programa de formação para formadores e as estratégias de disseminação e sustentabilidade.

Foi também uma excelente oportunidade para reforçar a colaboração entre parceiros, visitar o campus da GISMA e continuar a trabalhar em soluções inovadoras para a educação e formação. 🤝💡

Last week, we were in Berlin for the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the E-LEAD project, hosted by GISMA University ✨

Over two days, partners came together to follow up on the project’s progress, share ideas and align the next steps. The agenda included working sessions on the needs analysis, curriculum development, the AI-powered e-learning platform, the training programme for trainers, and dissemination and sustainability strategies.

It was also a great opportunity to strengthen cooperation between partners, visit the GISMA campus and continue working on innovative solutions for education and training. 🤝💡

We are excited for the next steps of E-LEAD! 🚀

✈️ Na semana passada, o Professor Dr. Rui Castro e Quadros deslocou-se aos Estados Unidos, no âmbito do programa Erasmus+ KA171, para uma visita institucional à Lewis University.

Ao longo da semana, participou em várias reuniões e atividades académicas focadas no reforço da cooperação entre as duas instituições, incluindo encontros com equipas de International Affairs, seminários interculturais, visitas às infraestruturas de aviação da universidade e momentos de partilha com estudantes e docentes.

A visita permitiu aprofundar oportunidades de colaboração internacional, mobilidade académica e desenvolvimento de futuras iniciativas conjuntas nas áreas da educação, aviação e inovação.

Um agradecimento especial à Lewis University pela forma tão acolhedora como recebeu o Professor Rui Castro e Quadros ao longo desta mobilidade. Foi uma excelente oportunidade para reforçar laços, partilhar experiências e continuar a construir esta parceria internacional. 🌍

✈️ Last week, Professor Rui Castro e Quadros visited Lewis University in the United States במסגרת the Erasmus+ KA171 programme.

Throughout the week, he took part in several institutional and academic activities aimed at strengthening the collaboration between both institutions, including meetings with International Affairs teams, intercultural seminars, visits to Lewis University’s aviation facilities, and networking moments with students and academic staff.

This mobility opportunity contributed to exploring new possibilities for international cooperation, academic exchange, and future joint initiatives in the fields of education, aviation, and innovation.

A special thank you to Lewis University for the warm welcome and hospitality throughout Professor Rui Castro e Quadros’ mobility visit. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections, exchange experiences, and continue building this international partnership. 🌍

Ao longo destes dias, estamos a marcar presença nas três atividades previstas: a feira de educação em Casablanca, a feira de educação em Rabat e as visitas a escolas em Casablanca.

Esta tem sido uma excelente oportunidade para contactar diretamente com estudantes, famílias, escolas e profissionais da área da educação, apresentar a nossa oferta formativa, esclarecer dúvidas sobre estudar em Portugal e reforçar a nossa presença internacional. 🌍🎓

We are currently in Morocco, taking part in the StudyCare International Education Fair! ✨

During these days, we are participating in the three scheduled activities: the education fair in Casablanca, the education fair in Rabat, and the school visits in Casablanca.

This has been a great opportunity to connect directly with students, families, schools and education professionals, present our academic offer, answer questions about studying in Portugal, and strengthen our international presence. 🌍🎓

Esta semana, temos o gosto de receber o Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy”, reunindo estudantes e docentes internacionais para uma semana de aprendizagem, partilha e colaboração. 🤝

Ao longo destes dias, os participantes irão aprofundar competências na área da avaliação e reabilitação vestibular em fisioterapia, explorando abordagens práticas e colaborativas para responder a desafios relacionados com tonturas, equilíbrio e qualidade de vida dos pacientes.

Este BIP é desenvolvido em parceria com a Western Norway University of Applied Sciences e a Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, promovendo a internacionalização, a inovação pedagógica e a formação especializada em saúde. 📚💡

This week, we are pleased to host the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy”, bringing together international students and faculty for a week of learning, exchange, and collaboration. 🤝

Throughout the week, participants will strengthen their skills in vestibular assessment and rehabilitation in physiotherapy, exploring practical and collaborative approaches to address challenges related to dizziness, balance, and patients’ quality of life.

This BIP is developed in partnership with Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, promoting internationalisation, pedagogical innovation, and specialised training in health education. 📚💡

A week dedicated to knowledge, clinical practice, and building bridges between European institutions. 🌍✨

Estivemos presentes no evento “Erasmus+ Aiming Higher: Mediterranean Bridges Across Africa and Europe for Shared Academic Pathways”, onde a nossa Diretora-Geral esteve em representação da instituição.

Este encontro reuniu instituições de ensino superior de toda a Europa, África e região do Mediterrâneo, sendo que estivemos entre as 4 instituições de ensino superior portuguesas selecionadas para participar.

Foram dias de partilha, construção de parcerias e reflexão sobre o futuro da cooperação internacional no ensino superior.

Seguimos a reforçar o nosso compromisso com projetos europeus e com impacto além-fronteiras 💙

We participated in the “Erasmus+ Aiming Higher: Mediterranean Bridges Across Africa and Europe for Shared Academic Pathways” event, where our General Director represented the institution.

This event brought together higher education institutions from across Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean region, with our institution being one of the 4 Portuguese higher education institutions selected to take part.

These days focused on sharing, partnership building, and reflecting on the future of international cooperation in higher education.

We continue to strengthen our commitment to European projects and international impact 💙

🩺🥽 Today, we brought CaregIVR to the Senior University of Barcarena, in a very special session together with ESSATLA professors and students.

Through virtual reality and health literacy moments, we provided participants with an immersive and practical experience, focused on understanding real-life situations and promoting healthier habits.

These sessions continue to demonstrate the impact of technology in education and healthcare, bringing knowledge closer to the community in an accessible, interactive, and engaging way 💙

🤝 We continue working to empower and support communities, promoting better health literacy for all.
