Criei este projeto pois sou um aficionado pelo mar, pelas ondas, pelo surf, pelo bodyboard e, principalmente, pela minha terra: Odeceixe. Sou nadador salvador e trabalhei durante 8 anos nesta praia. Foi durante esse periodo que me apercebi que queria estar ligado ao mar para sempre. Fiz a minha formação académica em Ciências do Desporto: Treino desportivo com a especialidade de surf, pelo que esp

"My name is João Silva and I'm the founder of Surf Seixe Academy. I created this project because I'm a fan of the sea, the waves, the surf, the bodyboard and especially of my place: Odeceixe. I'm lifeguard, and I worked for 8 years at this beach. It was during this period that I realized I wanted to be connected to the sea forever. I made my academic degree in Sport Sciences: sports training with surfing specialty, so I hope I can now pass on to you all that I learned and mainly give you to know the best surfing in a different way than has been widespread."

Last weekend we watched this amazing show live. For those who don’t know, is probably one of the best left-hand tube waves in Europe. With quite a long waiting period, they make sure the competition only runs when the swell and wind conditions are perfect, so they can provide their invited surfers and the public with the best possible show, as you can see in the next videos.
32 bodyboarders and 32 surfers from all around the world fight to be crowned champion. Congratulations to all of them for their amazing performances and the incredible show they put on.
We decided to share this with our followers so you can all see what we’ve been up to while we’re on vacation 😂🤙😎
Looking forward to getting back in the water in our beautiful Odeceixe.

No fim de semana passado assistimos a este espetáculo incrível ao vivo. Para quem não sabe, o é provavelmente uma das melhores ondas de tubo de esquerda da Europa. Com um período de espera bastante longo, garantem que a competição só decorre quando as condições de ondulação e vento são perfeitas, para poderem proporcionar aos surfistas convidados e ao público o melhor espetáculo possível, como podem ver nos próximos vídeos.
32 bodyboarders e 32 surfistas convidados de todo o mundo competem para serem coroados campeões. Parabéns a todos pelas performances incríveis e pelo espetáculo fantástico que proporcionaram.
