I wanted to make a simple 3D printed toy for my daughters, so I decided to Meshy a cute baby dinosaur 🦖
From a simple prompt to a 2D image with Nano Banana Pro, then into a 3D model, multicolor printing and finally letting my daughters paint their own versions. 🎨

Photogrammetry to full-color 3D print by
A ~1.5 m weathered bronze statue was captured using an iPhone 15 Pro with 350 photos taken in just 15 minutes. Artec Studio AI Photogrammetry turned the images into a watertight 3D model while preserving the original colors, scratches and surface texture.
The final model was printed in full color on a Mimaki 3DUJ-553 in just 14 hours.
MegCell Pulse is a 3D printable mechanical lifeform designed to physically play a real guitar.
Using a magnetic actuation system it converts digital pulses into mechanical motion and transforms that motion into acoustic vibration.
Digital pulses become mechanical motion and ultimately real music.
The project is now on Kickstarter.

3D Printed 1.9 TDI Engine with moving internals made by
This scaled down replica is fully 3D printed and built to move just like the real 1.9 TDI engine. Every internal component is designed to demonstrate how the engine works in a functional and realistic way.
The MakerWorld campaign pre launch is now live with the full release coming soon.
This research by Koki Jimbo (神保 康紀) aims to overcome the build size limitations of additive manufacturing by developing a mobile 3D printing system based on an inchworm-inspired robot and establishing a corresponding toolpath planning method. The long term goal is to enable the fabrication of large integrated mechanical components using additive manufacturing reducing assembly processes and shortening supply chains.
