Meet our incredibly talented Contemporary and Jazz teacher AM DANCE MOVEMENT
Alexis is a versatile artist working across performance, choreography and teaching, with a background in dance, musical theatre, singing and acting. She holds a BA (Hons) in Dance & Musical Theatre from the University of Chichester.
With a strong foundation in Jazz and Musical Theatre developed from a young age at theatre school, Alexis went on to pursue professional dance training after transitioning from competitive acrobatic gymnastics into full-time dance training. Alongside performing, she developed a passion for choreography and teaching, specialising in Jazz, Heels and Lyrical.
Drawing on her diverse training in dance, music, musical theatre and acrobatics, Alexis brings a dynamic approach to her teaching and choreography, with a strong focus on musicality, performance quality and authentic connection to the music.
Alexis is trained across a wide range of styles, including Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Commercial, Funk, Heels, Greek and Musical Theatre.
