Celebrating Dia de Portugal with a book reccomendation 📚

Today, we celebrate the wonderful writer Afonso Cruz and his poem “Vamos Comprar um Poeta” This one-of-a-kind novel asks us to question what poetry does for our lives.

In June, the smell of grilled sardines can be felt throughout Lisbon's best arraiais! It's the official sardine season, that, according to this popular saying, started actually in May. 🎣

Maio, Junho, Julho and Agosto are the months that us portuguese people believe to be good to eat sardines. And what better time to eat them than Santo António?!? 🎏
