Some of the benefits of keeping your practice, save and read to yourself when you need a reminder to keep going:
- Mind is freed from tension and accumulation.
- Equanimity and health is cultivated in the body.
- Heart is gradually and consistently purified of grievances, jealousy, hatred and all inner obstacles.
- Intelligence, buddhi is strengthened and is free to understand and reflect on the nature of the Self: Ātma Jñānam.
- Mind becomes introspective and reflective: antarmukhatvaṁ, which leads to jñāna yoga.
- Relative composure when difficulties arise
- The practice opens a spiritual dimension to life, therefore, one’s life purpose becomes clear.
- Constant contact with Īśvara- God Consciousness.

10 Parenting Lessons inspired by the Bhagavad Gītā:
1. Encourage your kids to give their best at whatever they do, but never to base their worth on “success” or “failure.”
2. Your kids will learn more from what you do than from what you say.
3. Allow your kids to express themselves without the need for external approval.
4. Teach your kids some sort of discipline. A disciplined mind becomes a friend; an undisciplined mind becomes an obstacle.
5. Always remind them that doing what is right is more important than doing what is easy or popular.
6. Encourage self-discovery, questions, and debate. Let them know they are not copies of you or anybody else.
7. Keep their hearts open by demonstrating kindness, friendliness, and respect for all beings.
8. Let them express and process their feelings. This way they will understand that feelings arise and pass. This is a lifelong skill.
9. Always encourage learning. Stay teachable yourself. Learn with them.
10. Help them connect with and understand who they are beyond their name, form, age, achievements, and circumstances.

If you have a dream to do something but you are not taking the steps towards achieving it because it will take too long, please consider that the time will pass anyway.
You might as well pass that time meaningfully.
Pursue what you truly want. It doesn’t matter how long “it takes”.
It doesn’t matter how old you are.
Your time here is precious and the right time is now only.
When you pursue truth and act from the truth of your heart, you align and empower yourself with strength of nature and the universe- which always functions and pulse with Truth.
