14 years of leading retreats, and this one felt like an expression of everything I’ve learned about curation, connection, and what students/participants actually need when they step away from their daily grind.

2016 had me shirtless and upside down 🤸🏻‍♂️

It was the year I first came to Brussels to teach at Yoga Room, not knowing I’d one day call it home 🏡

It was also the year I became a nomadic yoga teacher, a path that led me to Cape Town and helped me heal a broken heart 💔

This is the kind of throwback I can stand behind 👴🏻

Some of my favourite classes this year have been outdoors through my small initiative instagram.com/popupyogabrussels. Since I started the pop-up at the end of February, we have had over 300 students join classes in parks across the city of Brussels. 🤩

After some fine-tuning, and catering to demand and attendance, the Pop-Up Yoga classes are primarily held in Parc Tenbosch, Parc de Forêt, and Place Morichar. 🇧🇪

Of course no class can replace the in-studio experience, but that said, the outdoor classes are an experience on their own. From kids walking by and joining in, to this guy pictured, who literally stayed in “savasana” the entire class, I believe the focus and energy we create in the class emanates.

We will continue to offer open-air classes as long as the weather allows for it, hopefully through the end of September. 🌳

I’m thrilled to be partnering with Kokoon Getaway, leading the yoga class ahead of Brussels’ Kitchen's The Brunch Club at the majestic Chateau de Rivieren. 🏰

There is so much about this day I am excited about 🤩. The 60-minute yoga class held on the lawn of the Chateau de Rivieren, will be a blend of grounding and heat-building, stimulating your appetite for the 7-course vegetarian tasting menu that follows. Included in the brunch are 5 drinks avec ou sans l’alcool (“yogi’s choice”, as they say). 🥂☕️

Class is scheduled for 10h to 11h, and you can book your brunch for 11h, 12h, or 13h.
