Why do people ignore security advice? 👀

During a guest lecture with our Cybersecurity Officer Bootcamp students, Petra Jonsson challenged the idea that cybersecurity is only a technical problem.

Because even the best security strategy fails if people don’t understand it, trust it, or act on it.

A valuable reminder that communication is just as important as technical expertise in cybersecurity.

That was one of several valuable insights Sanne Femling, IT Security Officer at Norion Bank, shared when visiting our cybersecurity students recently 👏

She spoke honestly about the reality of working in cybersecurity, building stronger security cultures, and what she wishes she had known earlier in her career:
