📢 Small change to this week's BeFRAIL webinar talks

Sofie-Kristin Schendzielorz's talk titled “When Bones Go Digital – Rethinking Biomechanical Adaptation Studies Through 3D Modelling” has been moved to the 17th of July and will take place between 13:00 - 13:30 WEST.

Luna Beerden's talk on “3D Modelling and Activity Level Analysis: Case Study of Predynastic Egypt and A-Group Nubia” will go ahead as scheduled this Friday and will start at 13:00 WEST.

More information will be released shortly on how to register for the first talk.

📢 New paper alert!

We are happy to share that BeFRAIL PhD students Anne Malcherek, Steffi Vassallo, Carlos Moreira and Zélia Rodrigues along with the BeFRAIL PI Francisca Alves Cardoso have published a short paper in Agora.

Their paper discusses the thematic threads identified during last year's webinar series, which focused on the ethical and social impacts within bioarchaeology and bioanthropology.

It is available open access at https://doi.org/10.25660/ae1z-mp33.
