SpaceUp Portugal was a true success! We have been receiving amazing feedback these last 2 weeks and we just wanted to thank you all again for your so enthusiastic presence!

Thanks to all of these entities, we are a bit closer from Space today.
More than 100 space enthusiasts will be present at Pavilhão do Conhecimento - Centro Ciência Viva to share ideas and projects connected to the space sector.
SpaceUp Portugal is an excellent opportunity to network and get to know experts from different sectors. We are building a space community, which is the first step for growing a robust space sector in Portugal!

Lastly, SpaceUp Portugal 2.0 was possible due to the combination of efforts through Space Generation Advisory Council, AeroTéc and SPACEWAY.
We are doing our best to make sure that you have a fantastic day and meet a lot of amazing people from the Space sector.
SPACEWAY goal is to inspire, teach and connect the new generation of explorers. They aim to revolutionize space education in Portugal and build a strong community around the aerospace sector.
AeroTéc is composed of IST students. Its main areas of activity are the development of practical projects to apply the knowledge acquired in class, participation in competitions related to the area and organization of training courses and events that aim to bring students closer to the business world.
The Space Generation Advisory Council Council in Support of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications is a global non-governmental, non-profit organization and network which aims to represent university students and young space professionals ages 18-35 to the United Nations, space agencies, industry, and academia.

Ciência Viva is a national agency for the promotion of initiatives for the public awareness of Science and Technology in Portugal, whose associate bodies include public institutions and research laboratories. They have extensive experience in establishing partnerships with researchers in initiatives aiming at improving science education in elementary and secondary education schools.
ESERO is an educational program of the ESA - European Space Agency that uses Space as an inspiring context for the learning of science, technology, and mathematics as a way to promote the interest of students in these disciplines at the basic and encourage scientific and engineering careers.
ESERO Portugal wants to be a point of reference for Portuguese teachers of basic and secondary education, facilitating the approach of space themes in the classroom, through the availability of educational resources, workshops and training courses

SGAC in Support of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications is a global non-governmental, non-profit organization and network which aims to represent university students and young space professionals to the United Nations, space agencies, industry, and academia. The SGAC network of members, volunteers and alumni has grown to more than 15 000 members representing more than 150 countries.
