Dear Colleagues,
The current academic publishing model is broken, with high publication fees and restricted access to knowledge. This system hinders the equitable dissemination of knowledge, limiting the impact of vital research, especially in fields as important as ours.
I am working to create a Peer Community In (PCI) (https://peercommunityin.org/) Social and Behavioral Change. PCI is a free, transparent platform that facilitates peer review and the publication of research without the traditional journal paywalls or publication fees. It's a model designed to make research more accessible and inclusive. The PCI already includes 17 specialised communities, with more than 1,283 submissions and 4,088 peer reviews conducted to date.
