Last Thursday, 16 July, we had the privilege of celebrating the accomplishments of the latest graduates from Católica Lisbon SBE | Executive Education at the beautiful Estufa Fria in Lisbon.

Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and fellow executives, they marked the end of a transformative learning journey and the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, impact, and lifelong learning.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Professor Luís Caeiro.

For more than five decades, Professor Luís Caeiro dedicated himself to Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Católica-Lisbon SBE, leaving an indelible mark on generations of students and executive participants.

Throughout his years in Executive Education, he was renowned for the excellence of his teaching, his ability to inspire leaders and the extraordinary humanity he brought to every program.

A leading expert in Leadership and People Management, Professor Luís Caeiro believed that leadership is learned through experience, reflection and action. This conviction shaped his teaching and inspired generations of participants to grow as professionals and as leaders.

For many, he was far more than a professor. He was a mentor, a trusted guide and a lasting source of inspiration. His legacy lives on in the knowledge he shared, the books he authored, the leaders he helped shape and the values that continue to define our community. His dedication to education, his humanity and his example will continue to inspire us for years to come.

Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
