Our RASPI Sekolah students from SMK Damansara Utama bagged a Merit Award at APICTA 2018 held in Guangzhou, China.

Iqmilhaqeem Fakhrurazi Bin Ismail (Form 4) and Lee Zhen Huey (Form 1) team up to make the winning project - “Subnautica” (A Submersible ROV with Fish Finder A.I.). They became THE ONLY MALAYSIA STUDENT TEAM bagged the Award for the “Senior Students” Category.

*Senior Students Category is for students of Form 4 or Form 5 equivalent.

By being the Youngest (Form 1) – to compete with older students of the category.
By being the Smallest Team – The only student winner team in the category with only 2 team members.

APICTA Awards is an International Awards program that take place annually to increase ICT awareness in the community and focusing to assist in bridging the digital divide in the Asia Pacific region. This year APICTA received 350 entries from 270 teams from 17 different countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal.

Building of the smart city by students of SKTTDI(1) - Tahap 2.

The students in SK TTDI(1) had a demonstration to headmasters from Kuantan, Pahang and Kelantan. The smart city, camera box, temperature sensor automated fan, pi-robot and pi-boat are demonstrated and facilitated by the students.

Students in SK Taman Bukit Maluri conducting Pi-Boat Project. Initial stage of running the motor for the spinning of propeller as well as the servo for direction changing of boat is done. Continuation and class activity will be conducted in the next class!
