When constructions comes to serve an idea.

One of the most challenging designs I’ve ever created was my first, when I had to work out how to achieve the shape I had in mind. I had never knitted anything like it before, so it was a case of trial and error.

📅November 29th at - New workshop for Lace Knitting

Lace is, by definition, any fabric that lets light through. Knitted lace is created by a series of increases and decreases in the same row or round that direct the fabric in different directions, creating designs and openings. 

In this workshop you will learn to decipher the written and graphic instructions for following different lace stitches and be able to apply them to different projects. 

This workshop is aimed at intermediate and advanced knitters. To feel comfortable following this workshop, participants should already know the basics of knitting: stockinette stitch, garter stitch, increases and decreases and have followed at least one written recipe. If you don’t already have experience in any of these stitches, we suggest that you first attend a Beginner’s Knitting Workshop.

📅Dia 29 de Novembro no ! Workshop de Renda em Tricot

Renda é, por definição, todo o tecido que deixa passar a luz. A renda em tricot é criada por um conjunto de aumentos e diminuições numa mesma carreira ou volta que direcionam a malha em diferentes sentidos criando desenhos e aberturas. 
Neste workshop aprenderá a decifrar as instruções escritas e gráf**as para seguir diferentes pontos em renda e poder aplicá-los em diferentes projectos. 

Esta oficina destina-se a tricotadeiras de nível intermédio e avançado. Para se sentir mais confortável a seguir este workshop o participante já deve saber as bases do tricot: ponto meia, liga, aumentos e diminuições e já deve ter seguido pelo menos uma receita escrita. Caso não tenha ainda experiência em algum destes pontos sugerimos que siga primeiro uma Oficina de Iniciação ao Tricot.
