Taking this life changing experience are more than 250 candidates, aged between 17 and 63, representing 28 nationalities, and with 60% taking their first steps in programming. 💻

Researchers, engineers, musicians, teachers, police officers and many more: completely different backgrounds and experiences, all brought together by the same challenge.

A chance to learn differently, push their limits and discover just how far they can go. 🚀

And there’s a little 42 easter egg in this round: Piscine #18 in Porto is officially the 42nd Piscine held by 42 in Portugal. 🇵🇹

Every piscine has its own stories, conversations, and unexpected moments. ✨

We took a walk around the piscines to get to know our a little better, discovering the people behind the code and the little things that make each of them unique and also unite them. 💻🫂

Because while the challenges may bring everyone to the same place, it’s the different experiences and connections that make the journey one to remember.
