As The Lisboan continues to grow, we are introducing a new fee structure for the 2026-27 academic year.

The support of our founding families has helped us build a thriving school community with ambitious plans for the future. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are making a Lisboan education more accessible to families who share our vision.

Our commitment remains unchanged. We will continue to invest in exceptional teachers, meaningful learning experiences, and environments where children can thrive. This includes ongoing enhancements to our Early Years provision, where outdoor exploration and play help build confidence from the very beginning.

Collaboration sits at the heart of meaningful education. The Lisboan was proud to host the UWC Maths Workshop, bringing together mathematics educators from around the world to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and explore how the IB Diploma Programme can continue to evolve in meaningful ways.

We were also honoured to welcome former Portuguese Education Minister Nuno Crato, who contributed to the conversation around adapting textbooks and preserving the importance of discovery within the learning journey. His reflections reinforced the idea that education should not simply deliver answers, but create the conditions for curiosity and deeper understanding.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Mauro Santos, President of the Junta de Freguesia de Alcântara and community advocate Mário Mateus to our campus.
As a school rooted in Lisbon and shaped by Alcântara, we value strengthening our relationship with the surrounding community. We are not only part of this neighbourhood, we also have a responsibility to help build it, contribute to it, and serve the families and future of Alcântara.
We are grateful for their visit and excited about what we will continue to create together.
